history, I am good at editing my voice to the spider's. I'll go over and read what you need...
EDIT: I read, ok, if you want it to sound like the spiders short circuit after hits, (This is after you get a voice actor) pm me links to the announcer you want, give me samples and I'll work my magic on it.
I'll be gone for the next, 2-3 hours.
Double EDIT: I Could also apply sound extra effect to the cave noises to make the announcements seem haunting... Like in dead space and bioshock.

Can you make Ghast sounds? Because the old ones are killing my ears and speaker! :biggrin.gif:
Hey, i recently downloaded your pack and so far I love it! There is just one problem though, my clock and my compass won't work as the clock screen is filled with purple and the compass is missing it's needle. Also, the bricks look like fire, portal and normal bricks just smashed together, the pumpkins look like they are supposed to but with one square replaced by fire, and the netherrack looks like a block of regular blue water. Is this the texture packs'fault or is it my fault? If it is my fault, what should I do to fix it?

It's your fault. you probably downloaded the pack wrong. did you follow instructions correctly? When you used MCPatcher did you make sure 32x32 was in the box? i dont know what the exact problem is but i recognize those texture glitches. delete your bin folder and recources folder and run minecraft again. then exit minecraft and follow the install instructions exactly.
I checked MCpatcher and it was in 32x 32 so that isn't the problem. I'm still experiencing this dificulties.
Oh and you are right. I didn't download the patcher before but I did now even though it still isn't working.
Are the current textures final? I'm not really fond of the gold block... and am i the only person who would rather have something better for cobble? maybe a texture more brick-like or something that looks more like buildings are made out of like sandstone? and also i noticed the books are still the same, are you planning on changing those or not? i had an idea that maybe you could take the current cobblestone texture and make it the clay texture, so its like your taking scrap metal and making strong metal walls (brick).

nothing is definately final. everything is subject to change. My next update will be primarily terrain. I am in the process of redoing many blocks and making improvements on others. Although I had not planned on altering any of doku's textures I may try to make the cobble a bit more attractive. I still think the idea should be the same. I want everything to make relative sense, so to take cocoon walls and turn them into bricks may not be the direction I want to go. I do plan of taking a crack at improving them at some point, but I have other things that I am tring to do first.. namely fixing my crummier textures and polishing others. On top of that I am trying to have everything figured out soon.
Orange_anything suggested that brick could be siding from sunkin ships welded together. I am fond of the idea since clay is always found by water so if I can come up with a good design that may end up being what is settled on for brick.
essentially the idea is that by this next update everything should be figured out on the terrain so any additional terrain updates would just be tweaks and improvements.
Yo History umm the crew from Modzilla, the peeps who modded MC and created Zombiecraft, are asking if you can help them out with some texturesss... Just letting you kow kthxbai :3

The idea of the cobblestone texture is to look ugly. The metal is, well, cobbled together haphazardly. It's supposed to look poorly refined. Incidentally, this might encourage people to built with smooth stone a little more, since it is the "refined" equivalent of cobble. Just some thoughts.

Also, the map progress is slow. It might be a short map. D=
