Hey guys...I have an idea about the story of Lore and everything. How about we create a Server dedicated to Last Days/Fallout. And it can have a few slots maybe like 10/15 to reduce Lag, and 4 towns. And we'll each play a role. It'd be a Roleplay Server to help you write your story. But if you don't mind I'd like to Copy your lore story and make it to my own liking. I won't Publish it on Forums just like a Story line for myself. :happy.gif: By the way can't wait for the Non Hd Version of this. Keep up the good work.

They official lore thread won't be the official lore thread very longer. I have handed over the physical writing of the lore to Orange-Anything. He is a good friend of mine and has been involved with the project since fairly early on. He is also the primary sound designer for last days and is recording a custom sound track The sound track will probably take a little while to do but we may release partial the partial sound track within the next two or three updates.
I am planning for an update myself very soon, but it will be textures only. there will be a couple fun things in this update, such as the new wools and spider face, as well as a new painting. Also a "better" gravel, bed, and repeater. other things too.. but those are most worth mentioning.
I copied down what you had written just edited a few dramatical errors, and added a story line about Nuclear War. The Huggatron being sold illegally and everything. And Last Days is actually a person in my Edit, who is supposed to end the Nuclear War with the unreleased inventions from Mr.History (Daniel Crusader) I know this isn't the Lore Thread but tell me what you think about it.
The year is 1948; a young inventor named Daniel Crusader, who called himself ‘Mr. History’ was elbows deep in creating the world’s first artificial intelligence. Its name was ‘The Huggatron” and fancied it as man’s best friend ever since the dog. The Huggatron was primarily designed for human companionship. It came complete with full mobility, a voice emulator along with an emotion emulation system. And that means of completing simple tasks at its possessors will. Daniel had been working on this invention ever since he graduated college; he put a lot of time and money but was sure this would help him become a billionaire and the smartest man on Earth.
When the Huggatron was nearly complete Mr. History sought the council with a series of wealthy and powerful men. “Gentlemen,” said Mr. History “I present you a machine, unlike any you have ever seen outside of the cinema. Normally, I would not have asked to speak with you if I didn’t contain something magnificent in my possession. With me I have a device that will change the world as we know it. This device will touch the minds and hearts of people worldwide.” Mr. History’s voice was now rising out of its timid state. “This device will define our voyage in to the future. I present you the world’s first automated man, The Huggatron!” Naturally the men were eager to invest; Mr. History quickly gathered a fortune which he placed into founding ‘Orbital Industries’ in 1951.
Tree years later in 1954 he released the Huggatron onto the market. As expected, it took the world by storm. The Huggatron sold by the millions at less than an economical price. Within six months Mr. History was able to pay off all of the investments plus interest and protect Orbital Industries autonomy for good.
Six years, 3 editions of The Huggatron, and billions of dollars layer, Orbital Industries had announced that in three months in would embark upon a voyage to the moon. Many could not believe that such a thing was possible, yet, they had not believed in robots either. On October 30th, 1960 Orbital Industries landed on the moon. The whole world watched as a half dozen men planted the Orbital Industries banner at the landing. After the footage of the landing was played for the world, Mr. History went on a press trip and met with the leaders of all of the worlds Super Powers. He announced privately to each of the world leaders that he was establishing a weapons testing facility beneath the Earth’s surface. Access to the facilities would be public; however it would be at a considerable cost. He told each of the leaders that many of the others had already paid in advance for early access to the facilities and they would be left behind if they did not get on board. As expected, almost every country forked out the money to use the facilities before they were even opened. Using the money invested by the governments Orbital Industries was able to open its testing centre in 1964. Chapter Two
A few years later The Huggatron had become jail broken, and countries were selling it for triple the price the original was selling for. This caused many people to be bankrupt because everyone thought the new Huggatron’s where better than the original, but they were all the same. This unauthorized selling caused Orbital Industries to close down and stop selling their futuristic inventions. But Orbital Industries still had their factory on the moon, in which they kept testing out inventions.
Worldwide nuclear war warnings soon came up on every television and radio station, this illegal selling of The Huggatron’s had caused the world to turn apart. Soon there were later versions that were used in the military, as war machines. This caused Mr. History to go on a journey, but he was stopped. The televisions and radio stations were correct, because a nuclear war had started. Mutants and other creatures that where hidden had been released and started to mate and populate. Soon most humans had to stake out in mountains, and hot deserted areas. Creatures like giant scorpions and mole rats became easy sources of food but also very typical man-eaters.
A year later the world was dry, barren, and torn apart, all buildings where collapsed except those that were owned by richer citizens who could afford the protection from the creatures. Mr. History had heard of a great adventurer, who wasn’t afraid to risk his life. He wanted that man to do one thing and that was to shut down America’s main power core. It was a nuclear core, and it was what had started the war in the first place. If they could shut that down they could try to rebuild the world. But there was a powerful force that stood in their way called the ‘Enslave’ they were the government’s protector, who kept humans away from creatures, and they repressed the people’s creativity and education.
Oh by the way, if there's anyway I can help you with this texture pack. And I can't wait until the release of a Non Hd or at least a .Zip file for this Texture Pack that you don't have to install. By the way keep up with the good work.

Surely, the lore may look a little different soon and will be more complete but the foundation will be the same. If you decide to do this just keep me posted (and OP me of course if you don't mind :])

sorry that I missed that. I just went back and read the post it was from. I think you could perhaps meet somewhere in between. you could maybe imply that it WAS a pristine white at some point. I have never actually used the mod though.

Yes let's create the Official Last Days Roleplay Server! History can be Server Jesus (Admin or Mod) And the Creator the one I am Quoting can be Server...Admin but not as powerful as History! So c'mon History, what do you say. How many people are offered a FREE Server, and one based on a Monumental Texture Pack? (Not a lot of people) So Agree to it as soon as you get on!
They short answer is no... This is a major WIP and I accept suggestions and content mock-ups by users but I am not comfortable ( for obvious reasons ) with people re-uploading my content while I am still doing it. If you have idea's or tweaks you wish to suggest or submit to me then by all means do so, but I don't want people re-uploading the pack with their tweaks.
So what I am saying is... if you want to do it for personal use.. I can't stop you.. If you want to send me suggestions or mock ups ideas you have, I always appreciate it, but do not re-upload a personalized version.

@Mr.Info: what are you unhappy about? I am going to have two versions of the wools. A version for people who want color and a version with the cocoon objects which are the wool mechanic re-imagined essentially
I figured you would have the alternate face as an angry hall monitor. How creepy would it be to see the smiling face of your protector off in the distance only for it to flicker into occasional anger? (the spider blinking) then when you go too close it just started murdering you?!?!? That would freak the heck outa me. It would be like the thing once intended to protect you shorted out and now it anger mode is in constant on (but the default smile tends to display more often due to glitches)
I have some idea's. like you know how its a nuclear texture pack well why not have borded up windows. and flowers are scrap metal beds are sleeping bags and diamond armor is all broken and can see threw to your skin. those are my idea's i was looking threw it and i saw not all armor is done oh btw iron armor should be peices of iron falling apart.

White, Gray, Light Gray, and Black are all planned to stay unaltered, if that makes you feel any better.
