The only issue I have is that some blocks are slightly hard to tell apart from other blocks (iron blocks/obsidian/etc) but other than that, this is amazing. Keep up the excellent work. This pack is a great way to give minecraft a whole new feeling.
Just checked out the new update (finally), and it looks great. Sounds great, too. You were right about the movie being in poor quality. Sounds much better and very natural in-game. The rat sounds are great, btw. I keep a cage of domesticated rats in my house and I thought one of them had escaped behind my computer... lol
Redstone is a big improvement, and the torches and levers, too. And I like the icons you made for the coal, eggs, diamonds, etc. Keep it up!
i just had an idea for the lapis lazuli block (not the ore) maybe it could be a transpirant power field. it will be used as glass and it could be used for the advanced pre war buildings and orbital industries buildings on the moon. it could also be just as special sort of glass instead of power field. Sounds are great BTW
Yeah, I agree with that.
I would do this, but the game does not like when you try to make a non transparent block transparent. Only glass, doors, spawners, 'fancy' leaves, and things such as plants and torches can have transparency without glitches. Also the only blocks that support partial transparency are water and ice (correct me if I am wrong). Even on glass everything that has an alpha above 0 becomes fully opaque.
edit: also keep an eye out, I am uploading a 30 second video demoing night vision pumpkin blur as week speak. I will put it on here when its done. (thank you to farty16 for providing the screen. It functions very well)
Idea: I think when you mine redstone, it should look like a bundle of cords. when you place it, its a red cord. And, replace the white and black tree's texture with the regular tree's. The stripe black and whit tree's one looks sturdy and has no paterns. But, the regular ones looks likke a patern you know. Just switch those two. And, make mossy cobble and vrick look less like gold blocks. Just make it like the regular cobble, got with green squigerly lines.
Hey, History, will you ever make an adventure map to be played with your texture pack? Like, a set, not random world with destroyed buildings, taking place in the hive?
Also, the night vision looks awesome.

Yeah, I just started working on that a little bit. The video for night vision is actually shot on the very beginnings of the adventure map I will eventually put out.

most of the items came from glimmar's steampunk pack, but there are bits and pieces from many different texture packs. my goal was to remove all of the old horribly pixelated 16x16 icons but i also edited quite a few so they fit with the theme better, drew up a couple custom icons of my own and edited the icons from this mod so they look less "flat" and are more detailed. it's not perfect and it was hard finding textures that didn't look out of place. but i did what i could
also included in this addon is replacement music for minecraft to fit the mood behind the texture set
Requirements: you must have already installed last days with the HD texture fix before installing this addon, it is not the full mod. you also need the custom audio mod mentioned in the original post to use the custom music
and a small suggestion for the mod, i think the various dyes should be in the forms of test tubes, flasks and various other chemical containers. kind of like the idea of using toxic waste to stain your clothing green. it's hardly healthy but it's not like you have better options in the wastelands, oil drums dropping from robot squids also seems quite appropriate, engine grease would work too
A viewer of mine requested that I do a video of this pack. I didn't notice that the version on the site is missing much of the progress from the latest update until it was too late and I had already made the video.

I fail with computers. And so, I can't get McPatcher working. Since McPatcher is just for patching it into 32X, why not give us the option of playing it in 16X?
Maybe I'm saying my problem wrong. The thing is, McPatcher will not let me patch it. It refuses. I can try it without patching it, and that mostly works, but Bricks look all glitchy. Sorry if I'm not saying it with much detail, but I can't.
I asked History and he said that after he finishes the 32x32 pack, he will convert it to 16x16.

I am interested in what your going to make the "skeletons" say. Also, it would be cool if, sense the creeper use to be play songs for children, before they blew up instead of a hiss they would play a small and distorted section of a lullabye.

well as i said this was just ment to hold people over until your official item icons get finished, i edited most of your tool icons somewhat. i made the cooked fish, iron door, sign, wooden shovel, wooden hoe and the fishing rod(part of it anyway).
i chose that rod(edited the rod quite a bit) and string icon from Mustkunstn1k's texture pack because the string is quite thick and reminded me of wiring, it made sense for something a hall monitor would drop and could be used in makeshift tools, also the bone(crystal shards?) icon i used as replacement made more sense as something a bandit would be carrying(i have no clue what set that came from, i can't even find the file i used now), the slime ball icon is from brown and bloom, it just fit in quite a bit better for your slime monster
for your icons i added a little shading to them just to make them more detailed. i'm not a particularly good texture artist and just dabble in it from time to time

I am sorry about all that. I am a bit all over the place at the moment. I decided to remove that from the OP and take some time to get organized. In the mean time I started to edit some items I had from before.
