Also. Someone asked about sound earlier. I am afraid it is at a standstill at the moment. My friend truly seams to have vanished. I have several mob sounds in my possession, and there are a few sounds I will be able to do but If any one has some sound expertise and wants to contribute PM me. I will let you know what I am looking for and you are welcome to make your own suggestions. That goes for every body.
and naturally any contributions that make it into the pack will be properly credited.
history are you gonna change the destroy textures to? because im using bumpmaft atm and they have a differnt destroy texture. if you can please make one :biggrin.gif:
Hmmmmmm. I have seen people with that problem on the Flying Squid thread but I assumed it had been resolved since it was a little while ago. I am not really sure what to say about that heh.

You don't necessarily have to use MC Patcher. You can always just place it in the texture pack folder and move water and lava animates and the grass and foliage color files into minecraft.jar manually. (this is what I do)
Perhaps for the whole flying squids thing you can say that the atmosphere became weaker and lower, thus space junk can now be seen floating around, its also why you can't build too high.

I'm not sure if you thought of this before, but you should turn the pumpkins into a mining helmet, and change the pumpkin blur into a flashlight sort of effect. I did this before and it works really well.
Loving the progress so far, already have a sortof shanty town planned if anyone starts up a multiplayer server.
Don't know why people want the torches changed. Personally I like them as-is. Glowsticks would feel odd when putting them on walls, and someone suggested making them green to which I can say I've seen green torches (steampunk pack) and I hate them.
Here are some recent revisions.. the ground is "mossy cobble" there is a mob spawner next to that is a lever. the back was is clay and brick.. also the torches have shades of pale yellow in the center..
I will update the OP with that tutorial in a little bit.. I have to run right now but wanted to post this first
Looks fantastic. Very creative on the mob spawner, definitely gives the dungeons a unique feel.
One thing about mossy cobblestone, though, is that it has been discussed that in a future release of minecraft regular cobblestone might turn into mossy cobblestone (similar to the way that grass grows on dirt) automatically by itself. I hope if such a thing gets implemented it doesn't ruin this pack!

I hadn't heard that. If it does happen I will just have to make rusty scraps to replace these. I would welcome that change honestly. Scrappy homes getting rusty would be a nice effect IMO.

So to fix this problem, you need to copy paste the orginal squid skin 3 times, and re-name them to
flSquid_b flSquid_r flSquid_g

Maybe since they stayed underground so much, their skin blisters and burns at sunlight?
