gotta back story for armless hugatron
Story-
The hugatron the most loving robot for your kids! after everyone bought one they started to go insane for people ran for shelter and the hugatrons became armless from doors and guns blasting off there arms
I really dislike the Borderlands-esque outlines i hope thats just alternate, i hate comic style, also i hope you switch back to the Stay Tuned Jack o Lanters like many others referred i prefer that one. still cant wait for its WIP release.
I'm gonna chime in as for the cel-shade style. I realize you're gonna do both, but I wanna make sure the more awesome version gets the votes it should.
1. Incomplete terrain (both versions)
2. Mobs - sheep
3. GUI - Items
4. Sun and Moon
5. Clouds
6. Particles
7. Animated water and Lava
8. Biome colors
These are still works in progress. The animated lava is not very good, Some of the mobs need further polishing, and the terrain still has a few blocks left (including most plant life) so keep in mind this is not a complete work. I just figured I should release something so that people can play around with it while I do what needs to be done.

Everything's awesome, but i can't figure out what the clay is
Right now clay is just sand with a colored square on it.. it is a place holder.. and brick is also a placeholder. It is a rough attempt and a wall like this
except with a layer of crossing wire supports like this
I can't find an image of what I was going for exactly.. but my next version will probably have something like that first picture.
Tried it out. Noticed the bottom of wood pieces from trees still has the same bottom texture as normal. Is this a bug, a WIP thing, or did I have an error installing the pack?
That said, it looks really nice, and I'm going to start working on a WIP save to toy around in. I'll post it when I get something up, if anyone wants to try it until an official WIP save goes up.

That is just a WIP thing. Doku had left it the same as the leaf and wood textures. I thought it should be different then the leaves so that people don't get confused when cutting down trees but I didn't get around to changing it before this release. I left it the default for the time being
Just wanted to say the pack looks very good so far!
Most of the terrain elements look pretty good, but i just cant place my finger on what i dont like about the tree's... they just seem too green for the post-apocalyptic setting. Perhaps dull them down a bit or make them rusty? Or perhaps make the paint look flaky and old?
really enjoyed the brief look i have had at this pack so far, very tempting to start a new world :smile.gif:
really like the feel you have going with everything, no criticism as of yet, well actually, just one.
the cobblestone gets too busy, perhaps it is just me, but larger metal plates would feel better, and perhaps a bit of rust to them? its a touch tooooo grey. other than that, love it.

Apart from that, brilliant work!
My town looks great now :3
you have to place the 'misc' folder into the .jar directly. I can see your grass and leaves are still very green so that must be the problem.
the misc folder has the grasscolor and foliagecolor files in it.
It is really awesome! I just want to know if you are using the original water block texture as a placeholder for the netherack or if it is a glitch on my end.

The (normal) stone is metal plating. It seems a little silly, because you can find metal-plate caves in your new worlds. I guess it equates more to a bomb shelter?
A lot of the stuff is great. The shrubs and dirt are spot on. Leaves and wood look like they will be useful for shack/shed stuff. Still, this is definitely a texture pack that needs pre-made saves, not new worlds.

Read the post I quoted. I'm pointing out that I don't think new worlds are optimal for this mod.

The scene is your general post apocalyptic environment, with bleak wastelands stripped bare of all vegetation. Before 'the event' that brought this world into its current state, many of the more fortunate inhabitants burrowed into the ground and created a network of reinforced caverns, or 'Cocoons' as they were later known. Little did they know that these wouldn't offer the protection that they initially hoped for. The less fortunate were left to scavenge and fight for themselves. In an attempt to distance themselves from danger they built thousands of makeshift buildings, many raised above the ground on stilts to offer protection agaisnt the various mutated creatures that wandered the wastes. These became known as 'Scrap-Shacks'. This is a place you really don't want to exist, be it above ground on sheltered within a Cocoon, it will be harsh, it will be hopeless, it will be your last days.
