I've been trying to get hold of people responsible for maintaining this pack for a while, via private messages and what not, but I guess I'll post here:
May I please use some of these textures in a military texture pack I am creating? Full credit will be given, and I promise it will be done in a tasteful manner. I'm not looking to make a blatant ripoff of your work. I'm merely wanting to incorporate certain features like the beds, enchanting tables, workbenches, and a few other things that can pass for military equipment.
I have already created most of the pack using the customizer for personal use, but would like to be able to upload it so I can continue development. I have permissions from the other authors, either directly or via their stated license.
Here are some screenshots so I can show you what I have in mind:

Something weird with the pack some textures are 64x other are 32x 0.o
The textures are varied because it was assembled with Minecraft Customizer, and I could not do what I wanted with just the available 64x textures.
The primary contributor is Ovo's Rustic Texture Pack. The doors are from Plethora. The navy grey stone brick and cobblestone textures are custom, but based (with permission) on kurtextrem's stone brick texture for Plethora. Basically heavily blurred and brightness adjusted to the point of being unrecognizable.

I don't think he was referring to you specifically, it might've just been one of his random things, it's not the first...
I don't have a thread up. I'm planning to do a full 1080p Youtube video tonight, though. The ship is semi-historically-correct. I used dozens of photographs of the real Iowa-class battleships, including a cutaway diagram showing the interior layout. My copy, though, is only about 2/3 the original size, so some of the more minor decks are missing. I did my best to include the important details, and vertically shifted a few things within the main hull so I could display them in the space available. Everything I have built is horizontally where it's supposed to be.
The exterior of the ship, however, is very correct. An insane amount of effort was involved in getting the shape of the hull, the proportions and proper locations of the superstructure, everything just right. It was a constant work in progress up until the last couple of days of the project. A number of headaches were caused by the fact that all 4 Iowas differ slightly, and even their 1980s refits weren't entirely consistent. In the end, though, I wound up with a ship that is very representative of the class.

sweet, post the link here when you're done the video i like it.
Do I have your blessing to upload the pack to minecraftcustomizer.net?
EVEN THO I DID SOME OF THE TEXTURES THERE, HISTORY HAS TO OK IT. so pm him to make sure you get his attention. what is the smooth rock, i was wondering...
I PMed him, with no response. Hoping I get better luck here.
The smooth stone is a custom texture for stone brick and cobblestone. It is a heavily blurred stone brick texture originally made by kurtextrem that I modified, with his permission, and brightness-shifted. His texture was chosen, despite its detailed brick lines, because the original color was very close to what I wanted, and the color gradient was also good. I sent him a copy of the modified textures once I was finished. The stone brick and cobbleston textures were chosen for reskinning because the ship would still look okay with stock Minecraft textures or other texture packs that only enhance the default appearance (i.e., Ovo's). I don't want to create something that will look awful to other users.
i could use it for the fallout pack i'm working on...
FALLOUT INSPIRE MINECRAFT TEXTURE PACK

Awesome battleship by the way, do you have an official thread up yet?
