LAST DAYS was a texture pack started by Doku (creator of the ever popular RPG pack). Doku began this pack with the essential land-scape defining textures (Dirt, Grass, Stone, water, trees, etc) but did not have time to do much more before discontinuing the pack. The concept he had, and the work he finished was to good to let die. Using Doku's visual and conceptual foundation History continued the pack, expanded it, and improved it. Now I have been chosen to keep LAST DAYS updated and to continue to improve it, just like History had before. The Original Thread by Doku The Second Thread by History
The goal of LAST DAYS is to take doku's brilliant foundational work and bring it to its logical conclusion; a full scale, game changing, texture and sound overhaul which takes full advantage of the existing mechanics of minecraft and brings them into a post apocalyptic setting.

2. A full written lore

This is a Stone-Back. These bovine mutations are named
for the hardened gray plates on its back. In the wastes it's
plate baring skin is frequently made into crude armor.
Thats not a Stone-Back, its an Epic-Win... Can't you tell the difference?!?
Wow! Normally I'm not too interested in actually using packs like this that completely change the theme of the game to a more modern or futuristic setting(but I definitely can appreciate the work, I love these styles) but this may be my first exception. You've definitely given it a Fallout-esque vibe with tons of its own characteristics to boot and I just have to say this looks incredible.

thank you, I have never actually played with a major theme changing pack myself, However, doku's LAST DAYS looked so promising and I had already been pondering a similar idea when I came across it, So I figured I would adapt my idea around his foundation and thereby help bring his project back to life, while still making something of my own.
Bah, this blows the one I was working on out of the water . I was going for a slightly different style, but it can't hurt if you feel like using some of mine.
My sign, with the screen tinted green to fit with the fallout theme. I'm not fully sure of your going for a tech theme or wasteland theme, but seeing the inventory screen implies that some tech is left. Ignore it, modify it,I don't really mind.
I was really looking forward to Doku's, and this looks absolutely fantastic (especially since I now have a new comp and am finally getting around to playing Fallout 3).
I'm curious what you're planning to use for the Nether...?
Rewriting!
