I know there are tutorials and all but I cannot find the answer I need.
I have all the files needed, I even compared to a pack I have downloaded to make sure I am not missing anything and to make sure they are all in order. I did all the checking, made my pack.png and pack.txt and made it into a zip file and was hoping the handy Texture Pack folder would recognize it but it won't! It just simply does not wish to show up in my texture pack folder when I load up minecraft ): someone please help, any idea on what might be wrong? I could post it if you need to look at it even. I just don't want to paste it all over my original files and lose the originals! Especially because downloading minecraft again to reset the files means installing mods and modloader and the audio thing and blah blah blah.
IN SHORT : Minecraft will not recognize my pack as an actual texture pack, any ideas on how I could fix this? This is my first texture pack, obviously :tongue.gif:
If you are using a 7zip or rar format it won't show up either. It has to be .zip. I can't think of anything else that would keep it from being recognized.
