Oh goodness I can't wait for SineCraft to be updated for the new Minecraft! It's gonna be so sexy =D
Hope it's released soon!

v4 -- MINECRAFT BETA 1.2 COMPATIBLE! -- 1.14.2011
In this release I have updated the pack to be fully compatible with the new Minecraft update, Beta 1.2. I have included all of the new blocks, items, and a GUI file for the cage (is the cage even present in-game yet?) I changed all of the new block textures to match the mosaic design of the pack, including the cake. I also changed the cake item icon to match the new texture.

Wonderful looking texture pack. I love everything about it, GUI block mining status, ect. But may I suggest changing the flower colors back to standard red and yellow? This may be confusing now that we use them to make Dye's and such. Oh and I don't know why but my lava looks like the old texture for some reason any clue as what might be interfering? Photo's you posted showed them fitting the rest of the texture theme. Keep up the good work! Love it!
I really like this pack, don't know how it has gone unnoticed by me until now. It has a very unique style and simply gorgeous. Quick question though, I can't seem to get the lava/water to work, the game just uses the default textures. Even tried using the patcher. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
After I released v4 I realized that Notch added a new block specifically meant for the top of the furnace. I placed the wrong texture in that spot for v4. The correct stone texture will now be displayed on the top of the furnace.

You've got a point there :biggrin.gif: For the next release I'll try to whip up some red and yellow flowers that match the mosaic style. As for the lava and water, it will only work if you install the pack with the HD Texture Patcher. I don't know why this is, I think that the ACTUAL water and lava textures that are seen in-game are stored inside a class file or something.

Glad to see this updated. It's a definite favorite.
Thank you! Glad you enjoy it! Stay tuned for more.

Thanks for using the pack, and I'm glad you like it! As for the lava and water, it will only work if you install the pack with the HD Texture Patcher. If it is suddenly not working even with the patcher, then I have no idea. Get back to me with confirmation on that and I'll look into it.

Nice :smile.gif: I thought, wow, this will look ugly, but i gave it a shot and it is amazing!

Thank you for giving it a chance before truly judging it. I know it's different, but I'm glad you like it, and thanks for using the pack!

The download link isn't working. :sad.gif:
It is, just checked it myself. Try downloading it again. If you still can't get it to work let me know, I'll send you the latest version in a PM.
Edit: I really really like it so far. Only played half a minute with it so I haven't seen everything yet, but the blocks look great!
Question: Are boats/minecarts and mobs skins included, or is it still a wip?
Edit2: Looks AMAZING with BetterLight and BetterGrass. I'm more of a 128x128 kind of guy, but I prefer this well over the realistic packs. Thanks a bunch! Can't wait to see what you'll do with the water/lava, minecarts and boats!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the positive comments, and I'm glad you like the pack! Boats/Minecarts/Signs/etc. are planned, but haven't been done yet. I want to get around to doing them but I've had a lot going on this week. I'll try to get something done and released by Monday, but don't call me a liar if I can't :biggrin.gif:
This pack is amazing, everything looks so clean especially for a 16. I love the new crack animation as well, it's great. I had a pack with a similar concept (everything is cubey) to this back in September, I think I'm probably going to update+rerelease it. This is probably one of my favorite texture packs so far.

I just noticed how similar coal and stone are. A bit too similar if you'd ask me. In all honesty; it took me a while before I even realized how much coal there was around me, thought the coal spawn rate had been reduced in the latest version or something ;-)
The coal features shades of black, whereas the stone features relatively light shades of gray. The design of the coal also matches with the rest of the ores. If I changed it, it would unbalance the designs I already have. In addition, coal has been easy enough to identify for me, even in low light. I just don't feel that there is a need to change it.

Edit:
The plants/flowers are too light. They really 'stand out' when placed on grass. The green you've used in the grass should be the same as the green in the plants/flowers. And the white trees (birch trees?) are too white. I don't know how to say it but something feels really odd about them.
The plants standing out is by design; I wanted them to stand out, especially when playing with the Wild Grass mod. As for the color, I have no control over how green the grass is or isn't; that's decided by the biome gradients. Also, you say that the birch trees look too white and that they look odd, but they always have looked odd to me. The first time I saw an original one after the 1.2 update I seriously thought it was a glitched texture. In any case, I already plan to change the designs of the flowers back to red/yellow since they are used to create dyes now, but I do not plan to change anything else.
Might I make a comment though. Since the ore is four colored squares in the center of the block, I notice that Iron is white and the torch base is white. If I'm around a corner or far away, sometimes I mistake a torch for ore I haven't mined yet. Not sure what color you could switch the torch base too, maybe a shade of brown or grey, but it is a bit confusing.
Other than that, this pack is awesome. :happy.gif:

Might I suggest that Sandstone should look a bit more like stone? It's hard to tell the difference. Make it darker, I guess.
I think you have a good idea there. I'll try to improve it when I update for the next version.

Also a good idea, and it's something I never even noticed. Thanks for the heads-up on that one. I'll try to fix it when I update the pack.
This pack is far too good to be lumped with the horde of 'simple' texture packs around. I love the mosaic feel that everything has--the lava, especially, is absolutely fantastic. Really shows what you can do when you're going for a distinctive style.
The one (very minor) complaint that I have is that iron and gold blocks are too light, and as somebody who likes to use expensive accents occasionally, that becomes noticeable and somewhat irritating. Also, it might look a little bit better to do some of the other ores/minerals in the way that you did Lapis Lazuli; I personally prefer ores to be spread out through the stone.
I'm adding this into my rotation of most-used packs. :biggrin.gif:

Curse Premiumv4.1 -- MINOR UPDATE -- 1.15.2011

Meh, not exactly unique. I've seen it lots of times. Not as often as 502 Bad Gateway, but still...
