SineDeviance, what about animated fire or portal?
P.S. I don't like default textures.
Well, it goes like this. Basically, I lack the skill necessary to make animated textures that actually look decent in-game. So for now I'm going to stick with the defaults. Keep in mind that there is (albeit static) custom water and lava in the pack, but it only shows in-game if you apply the HD texture fix.
Hi, I am done with Minecraft for a while, but before I delete everything here are items and terrain hacked up to fit 1.9pre3 for anyone who doesn't want to wait for Sine to work his magic.
(apologies for invading your thread, Sine, I hope you don't mind)
No apologies necessary, you've done the community a service by doing that. Thanks a lot! As a side note, it's not that I want to keep people from getting another SineCraft release; I just prefer waiting until the final product to update the pack, because we never know what Mojang is going to change before they have a gold master of the next final release.
I also wanted to say that I really dig the changes you've made to some of the items/textures in the pack. You took some of them in a different direction and I think they actually work better that way. Would you mind if I included some of those different designs for the next SineCraft release, either as the defaults or as alternatives?

It's easy.
You need to use 16x16n pixels field.
Where n, there number of frames in the animation.
The frame is a portal texture (or fire) 16x16 pixels.
Need to call them custom_portal.png and custom_fire.png
I tried create textures, but I can't save the style.

It's not actually that easy. I have to draw each frame of the animation by hand, and I suck at doing that. This is why it hasn't been done yet. Did you think all of those frames in each animation get generated out of thin air? :biggrin.gif:
Armor is still a possibility for the future, I just haven't gotten around to doing the sets yet. They're done in items.png and I'd like to make sets that match those
Thanks! No, I wouldn't mind at all. Can I ask which in particular you like?
Sure! I really dig your diamond design in items.png, and in terrain.png, I dig the cloth and the sticky piston plank. The textures you used for the iron and gold blocks were also a really good idea, as I never use those to build but other people might.
Excellent texture pack. The colors remind me of the Doku RPG pack, which is great!
Thanks a lot, I'm glad you enjoy the pack! The color palette for this pack was inspired heavily by the color palette in Doku's RPG set, so you're exactly right. I wanted to capture the feel of his pack while still doing something unique.
Hey, I'm building a texture pack for a new adventure map and a few of your textures really caught my eye. I was wondering if I could use a few. You would be fully credited and I would be very grateful.

Those will come (if they're in the game) in the next version of SineCraft. Did Quod forget them in his preview version?

I meant include, but gotcha. No biggie, I'll have em' in the next SineCraft release if they're in the game.

Anyways, you should complete the chicken, fish and dyes and else it will look better.

I'll get around to the dyes once I come up with some good ideas for them that will match the rest of the pack. Chicken and fish, too :biggrin.gif:

Open this link. (Don't open it if you don't like suggestions.
Also they are 'rough sketches'. You might want to make it smooth.
