I've been using this pack on a new world I made and I really like the feel of it, though it does feel more gallic Roman than Italian Roman. Good job; the atmosphere is well crafted.
I don't know why, I don't know how, but I have a extreme hate for ancient romans and professional basketball. Downloading this would go against all I stand for. Sorry.
I don't know if this is known already, but, fix the cake pl0x.
It's known, but StugAce doesn't currently have internet access. But if you have any* sort of photo editing program you could do it yourself. All you have to do is select the textures, move them, and delete the background.
Okay, so I got my internet back now that I'm all moved into my new apartment. I started tweaking the Romecraft pack to look slightly more enhanced, especially with stone for some reason. I found the stone too gray and have been tweaking it with more earth-like, warmer colors. The modification isn't too dramatic, so it won't affect the look of your temples! I've also been trying to correct tiling issues with stone and grass-topped dirt (a huge pain) and also fixed cake.
I don't like to release just a fix, so I'm trying to do as much as possible to help improve the pack and prevent any more aches on my part.
Knowing my luck, I'll accidentally release this just a few days before 1.8, so that I will have to grumble some more as I try to keep up once again!
Any suggestions you have are appreciated for tweaks and modifications.
You could make the skeletons and zombies have tattered and rusted armor as a part of their skin.
Good idea. The Skeletons already have greek armor, but having it worn down and more ancient looking would be great! I may add armor to the Zombies to make them more like Gallic armored infantry, or Celts painted blue.
