still using this pack, and i have been almost since you released it, but i have 1 request.
a lighter, more sandcoloured version of sandstone (even lighter than the brownish reskin a page or two back),
would be wonderfull. i've been trying to make a carthaginian settlement south of my roman town, but i cant get
it looking right with the sandstone as it it now.
either way, im looking forward to the next update as allways (and the HD-pack, can we get any screens of that soon? :biggrin.gif: )
Hey.. GREAT pack!!! i got it yesterday and now the 1.6 is out and i cant see the long grass.. when do u think you will have it fixed by?? Even if you make the long grass and the Maps as default!
Excellent themed texture pack! The first pic looks epic at the 16x16 res you're using. Very well done indeed and the character skins are perfect. :smile.gif:
Hey there! Me and my friend Kirby232 are planning on making Minecraft LP videos, and even our own adventure map! We've got a tumblr blog set up so one can stay in the news for updates on what we're doing, go check it out!
I have been very inactive as you can tell. I plan on updating the pack extensively soon.
I will be leaving alternative textures up to whoever wants to do them (Such as basic colors, alternative doors, alternative columns, sandstone, whatever). The main original purpose of this pack was to provide my cities with extensive historical detail, so some aspects do not make sense (Such as sandstone building blocks appearing naturally)
I decided to release an update to 1.6 today. Sorry for all the wait. I'm a busy fellow :tongue.gif:
Also, I would like to take the time to thank all of our soldiers and veterans for their service to our country. Today is June 6th, the date of the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War 2. Remember all the soldiers that fought and died for our countries.

September 56 2034,The world was hit with a meteor that let out poisonous gasses and every female and male died except for a handful of humans, all of them mutated into horrible creatures except for one male named Steve with only his wits and a handful of logs.....This is his story!
You sir, have an excellent texture pack. I've been working on a scale model of ancient Rome itself for about six months now, and when I found this texture pack and it made it all so much more worthwhile. I'm a bit of a Classical historian myself and from what I can tell you've got most things (given Minecraft's scope) down to the wire; it's very thorough....except one thing. The map icon is still invisible. I figured I'd wait for the next update to bring it up, but said update has occured and I still have invisible maps. I'm not entirely sure it it is just me, so please correct me if I'm wrong and I'll try to get it fixed. Otherwise, just something for you to take a look at.
P.S. The city of Romecraft is awe-inspiring. Roma Invictus!

something about bandwidth being exceeded.
