if you read the description in said youtube description, then you'd remember that they're not doing anything of the sort until their projects are done.
Hey, I finally got the pack to work, and it looks amazing. I only have one real gripe, and that's that if you build a wooden house, and then use a wooden door, they blend, which seems kind of off, but other then that, amazing pack.
Hey, I absolutely love the pack, pretty much everything about it.
On another note, me and a friend are completely baffled at how to make the fluted blocks for the top of the columns. It would be really helpful as currently all our columns abruptly start and end. Also, perhaps a master list for the wool blocks (or perhaps all the blocks) containing both the original and new Romecraft blocks is in order.
If anyone could help me out that'd be great thanks!

look at the minecraft wiki, and look for the section that covers colored wool blocks.

Care to make that coherent?
What do you mean by coherent? do you want to like protest? or edit the texture ourselfs?

Here is a new Terrain.png for those of you who want different doors and different Glowstones
Of all the texture packs available to me, yours is the one I like best. There's something about the colors and style of the brick and mossy cobblestone that makes me think of DOS games and Roman byways. This is a very comforting thing for myself at least. That said, I've begun to use your pack less and less, solely because of the obsidian texture. Natural obsidian is not very common, but in the course of survival or PvP you see it a lot. I've included some examples to show why the current texture is so bad:
A common technique in diamond mining is to use a water bucket to bypass lava. As you can see, from a small distance the Romecraft obsidian is pitch black under any light. On the other hand the Jolicraft texture looks nice, and represents obsidian adequately.
Structures are also often wholly or partially built of obsidian. Most commonly they are spawn traps, or fortresses in PvP. My poor excuse for a house isn't the best example though...
Originally I planned to go into more depth, but I think these pictures speak mostly for themselves. Whether you change this or not, I'm thankful for all you've done so far.

That was my thought when making the texture for it. Obviously I'm out of the loop when it comes to its other uses XD

Seems appropriate considering Obsidian is black.
