Hey, I downloaded your pack because it looks amazing, but I have a problem where the pack crashes minecraft. I made sure that I installed properly, and redownloaded just to make sure that i didn't get a bad file. Do you have any suggestions as to what might be wrong?

I have no idea, I've heard of this issue from a few people, but I haven't experienced it myself, as well as many others.
hello sir, your graphics pack is amazing. I only have one problem, and that's with the lightstone. compared to the rest of the graphics pack, it looks out of place. any chance that you might be changing it around?

I completely agree with you. This Stone would be much better if changed up a little. I'm using them as Pool Lights for now, but I would love to use them as Street Lanterns as well. If this isn't going to be changed any time soon. I strongly suggest using some sort of Photoshop to use your own Square for the skin of the Lightstone. I'm currently using Photoshop CS4, but I haven't thought of any new Skin for the Lightstone yet.

The point of the lightstone looking like that is that it matches the Netherstone texture for the most part, so it's not supposed to be a huge cube of light, but rather appear as small rocks in the Netherstone that are emitting the light.
great job!
it would be nice if you could change the light grey wool to something more interesting tho
The default wool is an offwhite color made to mimic that of roman plaster, while the light grey is an actual white and matches the white on the other wool blocks, such as pink. The true white color would be a painted plaster used on fancier buildings and temple, which is what we use it for in our city, whereas the default wool is a more common material found in poorer buildings and houses.
StugAce... i might actually use this instead of using a futuristic texture pack... one question though... could i have your save game with the screenshots preez?

ok yeah, I can see where you were going with that, however their use as a light source would mean that it would need to be used a lot more places than just the Nether. I request it because, when you got something like this on your server....
it looks really out of place. is there any chance that you could alter it with consideration to how people use it after harvesting?
failing that, do you have anything you could create separately that people could use to customize their own copies?

I'm sorry, but the world is still under heavy construction! We are still accepting new builders for Romecraft's private server however, if you feel inclined to research Roman structures and help out. Otherwise, the map will not be public for a long time.

I see what you mean. I'll devise a more "usable" texture sometime soon, when I am less inflicted by schoolwork!

That's pointless. If a file is absent from a texture pack, the game automatically uses the default.
Also added cookie sprite :tongue.gif:

More of a spear, but you can see it both ways.

If I had the money to afford a server/computer capable of running a large enough server, yes, I'd consider making the City of Romecraft public.
