This is, by far the most interesting and inviting texture pack I've seen for Minecraft yet. Insanely impressed, and I think this is the only pack I'll even bother using. Much props.
EDIT: also, can you approximate how long that city in the featured video took you? Because that's serious dedication.
I have an issue. When i use this texture pack, i can't load minecraft. It's just this texture pack that does it, so i could be installing it incorrecty, i just did it like any other pack. I want to use it, so why does it cause me to not load minecraft?
I've heard of this, and I've done it to myself, but it is not something wrong I'm in control of!

Hi, StugAce. The vid and what's depicted in it is utterly breathtaking! Suitably professional for what is easily the best historical texture pack in Minecraftia.
Cool mod! Spider could be Arachne, the mortal who claimed she was a better weaver than Athena/her Roman counterpart and when she proved that she was better, Athena/her Roman counterpart turned her into a Spider. I can make a skin.
Also, Zombies could be Vikings or Huns.
Last but not least, this seriously needs to have a mod version. :wink.gif:
EDIT:
I made an example Arachne, I know you won't my idea, let alone my skin. But I am pretty new at skinning and I needed a better understanding of the Spider Skin Map. I will upload it anyway however.
Just wanted to say that the texture pack and the city of Rome are amazing, and the Colosseum (although incomplete as yet) is starting to give the feeling of grandeur that it once had.
Looks really good. Would like to see an attempt at 32x32 version when my Minecraft can handle it though.
Doesn't stray from the original look and feel at all but still (at least with a decent building) looks unmistakably Roman.
I love the texture pack, but based on the picture, I can't tell what each block is. I'm trying to build a roman city and I need pillars, but I dont know which block is that shape

Dont use the Texture Pack while building finish up then tinker around for more work with the texture on.

I love this!!!!!!
Good job man, you fused the roman era and minecraft perfectly!
Kudos!
Pre-100 AD ancient Rome =/= Renaissance.

i think the sheep hate me
i can never find them when i need wool
USE IT!
A lot of other things that need work but otherwise I love this!
They aren't supposed to show up. Boots were too hideous and drew away from the historical accuracy of the rest of the armor.

Rest is really nice work!
Did you even look at the cobblestone in the texture pack?
