Edit:I suppose I could apply to build too. I currently play on a server with a lot of fairly young people and my creations are under near constant threat of defacing or outright destruction. It might be interesting to build something in another part of your map in a Byzantine style. Although, apart from the walls and Hagia Sophia I'm not quite sure what that would be.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I will fill out all the information needed for the request of a builder but could I be like a citizen or something, really I just want to walk around your world, possibly take pictures and stuff so I can use them for inspiration with my current project. Which annoyingly hasn't gone very far because of exams and the update ruining my roman city world so it had to be deleted consequently having to start from scratch.

PSS- Please could you do a texture for the steampunk balloon mod, my dad has done one but he is not prepared to do a Roman version (which is probably pretty difficult? I dunno).

I actually deviated from what I originally planned. No Zen Garden! Though I already did one of those in a previous save anyway. Though I could always remodel the first level.
I found a massive cave network that went all the way down to OH GOD LAVA LAKES while strip mining for enough stone. Thus the lava. I'm also rolling in two and a half stacks of iron bars, eleven gold bars, a stack of red dust, and eight diamonds. All from just mining what was on the surface walls of that network, and THAT ISN'T EVEN ALL OF IT. There is a whole lot more stuff still down there. Mostly stuff that I have to drain lava lakes to get at and to continue exploring further.
TRULY THE GODS OF OLYMPUS HAVE SMILED UPON ME AND REWARDED ME FOR MY EFFORTS AT BUILDING THIS MAGNIFICENT TOWER.
I might redecorate the tower a bit. That smooth stone I melted from cobble doesn't look as good as I was hoping it would around the top edge. I might reface that top outside edge with cobble for a uniform look. Though from the inside you'll still see that nice smooth clean stone.

Hey stugace may you please change the texture of bricks like change the red part white and the black lines red because i have been studying roman buildings and alot ofthe builds/walls used bricks like that.
Is this what you meant? If so, you can download the edited terrain.png and install it into the texture pack.

I don't have the earlier wool colors, as I started using Romecraft on the previous version (so I do have the original Black); but if someone can provide them I can do this for you.

Romecraft Approves. If you do not like certain versions of Romecraft, I approve of most alterations as long as all textures made by me are given proper credit! Any alterations posted on this thread are pretty much valid though. Wool changes are to be expected, as I was selfish with the wool patterns so that they would fit the city of Romecraft better!
Maybe I will post several versions of Romecraft when it is entirely complete. Speaking of which, I will be having a slight update shortly to address a few textures.
As for white bricks, I have not seen any examples of Roman white bricks, unless if they are painted. All brick was reddish in color from creation.

I just released version 4.1, which includes a new creeper design! The old design should still be in the MOB file if you prefer it, you just have to rename it back to creeper.png. Other than that, I just wanted to fix a few bugs and eyesores.

Its not you, its the forum. If you read Mogo's post, it explains the issue. Apparently signature links do not work anymore unless if you already had them in your name.

this would be amazing if it werent for the freaking sandstone! grrrr! my house is made up of the stuff >.< and the pickaxe's look weird. at least the stone ones do. other than that good job
i believe that this pack is awesome, but am i the only one who thinks that the water enviroment should get some stuff, really, like a diving mask that allows you to move a certain distance away, made by having iron in the bottom colum glass in center, iron on tope except for 1 reed/sugar
I decided that I need to give this texture pack a break, as I've worked too hard on it and have forgotten to focus on some other aspects of my life. I will still play here and there and work on the city, but I have important life tasks to complete that take priority.
