So like darker? I was thinking of making them a much darker green, with really bright eyes. maybe red or a bright green.

I think i messed up up the new leaf texture when I pasted it..... but I'm not sure....
I think notch added a new leaf texture to some of the trees, and when I pasted it into my old terrain file i might have messed it up....

I started using this pack just prior to the 13th's update, so I've only now redownloaded. I thought I'd let you know that, on the very first wheat growth image, there's a white dot where it shouldn't be - on the right side, I think, but I could be wrong. I believe it's along the top line, so erasing up there should work fairly well.
Another suggestion would be to either darken the biomes noticably, and do the same to the sides of grass blocks, and/or shorten the grass on the sides somewhat. The biome colors, particularly those of swamps and other very temperate climates clashes unpleasantly with the sides.
Cheers,
Duo

I've been looking for a way to fix the sides of the grass (to make them biome compliant) but my searches have been fruitless.... If you know how please tell me!

From what I know, the sides *can't* be biome compliant. You can get them to blend somewhat better, though, by making the top of the grass the same color as the sides and just letting the colors to overlay them anyway. If that continues to provide a strange effect, either remove the biome colors (and make them transparent,) or darken and shorten the grass a bit. I'll take a look at your terrain.png and perhaps send you a few updates :biggrin.gif:.

Ok, I'll look at them!
I think I get what you mean though. Make the sides darker so they fit with the other biomes better.

Just another clarification, as my other post is worded strangely: the greyscale of the top of grass it what allows the biome color to appear so readily. If the grass is green on top, then the biome will merely tinge it, rather than determining the color completely.
A second note: I noticed that you haven't changed pumpkinblur.png, and I've got an interesting idea. I personally use a custom pumpkinblur.png with very high gamma, which seems to pick apart colors in the dark. This makes pumpkins into a night vision apparatus, and I was thinking: although you said you want to make Minecraft slightly harder, pumpkins could be a slight rebalance, by providing nightvision, but still partially obscuring view, and that I would be happy to provide this for you :biggrin.gif:. Let me know what you think, and if you approve, I'll send you a preview after testing it a bit myself :biggrin.gif:.

oh that's just the update. I just pasted the default textures into mine so they wouldn't show up as pink boxes. But I'll be redoing them soon!
