Ok so I just finished making my custom Texture Pack with Painterly. It created my zip folder, then I was using the extraction wizard to move the files into my .minecraft/texturepack file.
When I go to minecraft and open the Texture pack tab it isn't there. But then I use the open texture pack folder tab. All of the files are there, but it just isn't showing up.
Any information on what I am missing would be greatly appreciated.
I haven't pulled a pack off the panterly site lately but I think I know your problem. Don't extract the files. Just drop the .zip file into the folder as-is. Minecraft expects each texture pack to be in it's own .zip file.
