Is creating a texture pack as easy as coloring in the png's within those purple lined boxes? I tried going into paint with the terrain.png and colored some of them without touching those purple lines, but everything that didn't take up a whole block (torches, flowers, etc.) but it just filled in where there should have been nothing/air with white.

How can I change the picture without messing it up?
