Well, I am stumped. I am tired of the default texture, and, its not that they are bad, but I do not like using community texture packs, even though they are great. I feel like I need my own to be satisfied, but I cannot think of a Theme. if anyone has an Idea, suggest it. who knows, if it is any good, maybe I will release it to the community. any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've been fairly interested in seeing a Windows theme, preferably Aero.

Dark glass textures.. Hehe, i dont know. If you can think of a way to blend it into Minecraft, then it would be cool. It couldn't just be Windows icons.

I have an idea!

You can go for something I have tried to do called GoldCraft. It's where everything turns into the shads of gold. For instance Golden Dirt would be in shades of yellow, not brown. Also, the Inventory Screens (Furnace, Chest, Workbench, Dispenser etc.) might be shades of yellow instead of gray. Golden Creepers would look cool too!Currently my main computer is broken and I lost the files for what I was working on, so I've given up on it. I might start up on it again!

OR

You can go for something called GlassCraft. It's where everything turns see through except for the outside pixels (Except for ores, they would also have the ore in them). It might be considered "cheating" in Multiplayer servers because you could see where all of the Lava/Ores/caves are, but it would look really neat, like you're walking on air. Plus you wouldn't have to waste valuable sand and fuel to make windows for your home. You could also look right through your world and see the Void!

biohazard or infection based (green slime, quarintine, zombie like mobs, hazmat suits ect.) idk why im bothering saying this since you dont seem to reply on this thread, but if you see it keep this in mind.... but dont do that windows one that sounds really gay, like who wants an operating system on minecraft.

mmmm glass craft would be tricky making everything transparent.... may not even be possible, windows are programmed to be see through in any place that isnt marked with pixels, im sorry to say they are quiet unique blocks, the others dont work this way.

You want something that is your own because community texture packs don't do it for you -- but you want us to tell you what texture pack to make? Alright, whatever.

Here's an idea. It's based on an idea for a mod I've harboured for a while. The texture pack would be called Everything Creeps. What does it look like? Creepers! Everything is redesigned in a way that is evocative of the imagery of creepers. I don't mean that every block is just a pasting of creeper faces or textures (since that'd be annoying, boring and counterproductive), but that every block could be looked at and you could say "oh, okay, so that's like this part of a Creeper". Creepers might be redesigned to have a crown on their heads, to denote their dominion over your reality.

I thought that Slimecraft was pretty good already.
