v1.4 was a disappointment for me. This update was a surprise for me, I couldn't even imagine how I would get in love with the new changes you've all demanded. That means a load of alternative textures have been included in this pack as a seperate .png if you want to edit it. Hooray!

Changed a bit of tree textures.
Redstone is still glitched, nothing I can do about it. Attempted a bad fix though. Will fix this later on (I hope).
Lever slightly tweaked. Same with redstone torches.
New glass. Not sure if I want to keep it.
Chests finally changed.
Diamond/gold/iron blocks changed "slightly" too. :smile.gif:

I will from now on only fix issues and implement necessary changes such as updates, I guess. If you want a specific chest, you must edit it yourself. I can provide some support, but I'm busy too most of the time. Just spent 6 hours on doing this update with no breaks.

Heh, it combines all my favorite texture packs. Very nice. It looks incredible in-game except for one strange issue with the text.
All text in the game looks like this. Weird, I didn't see it mentioned above so I guess I'm the only one experiencing the issue. I patched a fresh .bin and everything. I figured maybe it was related to the "high res fonts" option in the patcher, so I tried again with it disabled and still had the same problem. If you require any additional information just let me know.
Otherwise this is an awesome texture pack and I'm going to use it as soon as I can fix the text issue. Awesome job! :3
I had the same problem, but instead I poked around with my minecraft.jar
BEFORE posting.
Just back up your current minecraft.jar, download a new minecraft.jar here, then put the new minecraft.jar in your .minecraft/bin/ folder, then download the texturepack again, put it in your texturepacks folder, patch it, then hit "test minecraft", and THEN close it out and run minecraft the other way.
To people getting weird text spacing, when in the patcher program, be sure to leave high res font box UNCHECKED. This will keep original text. Also I found that water and lava looks true HD with the custom lava and custom water boxes UNCHECKED. Hope that helps.
To creator. Yeah I found that extra HD pallet. Very cool thank for including those, the ore is EPIC looking in the alternatives. Also love the spawner textures.
Question. I must be dumb but I cant find the inventory textures for things like dirt, cobble, log, planks, and stone in the zip.
NOT the terrain blocks but the pick-able item drops. I'm reverting most of the inventory items textures back to normal as they are hard to tell apart or maybe it's how my eyes don't want to learn new inventory item pics. hahaha. Where can I find those textures? Or are they wrapped to the terrains?

They're wrapped to the terrains.
The inventory item icons for the terrain blocks are just smaller sized versions of the world terrain blocks. So without making a mod for separate inventory displays, the only way to get back the default look of the item blocks is to revert to using the vanilla terrain.png. :|
tl;dr - terrain blocks are still terrain blocks even in the inventory.

Curse Premiummodloader and optimine both are known to kill hd fonts.. guessing you are using one or both?

For the TNT, yeah, I do too. But Misa's looks pretty nice too.
