I am no longer maintaining this pack thread much, so I'll just post changelog + download links here quickly. If you feel like, go ahead and update this texture pack, you're allowed to repost it.
EDIT: Whoops, it seems I have forgotten to add vines. 2.0.1 fix will come up in 15 minutes. EDIT2: It seems my WinRAR has failed to add the new terrain.png to the pack, need to do it again... EDIT3: Done... fix for v2.0 users if you don't want to redownload: EDIT4: Herp derp, minor error in v2.0.1, fixed. Doesn't affect people with MCPatcher, optional update:
Ah, Beta 1.8 is here, time to load GIMP again. I didn't bother to do the pre-release updates to this texture pack, so have at it, 1.8-prerelease texture pack for 1.8 release. :tongue.gif:
I can consider 1.8 a large update, and numbering the next texture pack to v1.10 would have been silly and confusing, so here we go, v2.0! And no, the thread is still dead and won't be updated for my boredom. :sad.gif:
Thanks to the minimal 450+ downloads I got in long period. It's less than what I got in days of maintaining the thread (v1.7 1759 downloads in short period), but it still keeps me motivated to update this texture pack for you all.
Like always, please remember to use the MCPatcher HD fix.

NOTE! If you get weird font issues with HD fonts, blame other mods such as Optimine. I am not responsible for these mods, I'm only an "artist". Optimine edits fonts too and hence I'm not responsible for any glitches. Tl;dr: Do not use Optimine with HD Fonts. It is incompatible.
This is a remix/remake of Misa's 64 texture pack, a "best-of" 64x64 textures by popular demand! I will keep updating this texture pack, so remember to check here regularly! Most of work in this pack is by Misa but there's some Mixcraft, Sanguine and Juze's rainbows involved. Thanks to all these artists!
Please read the instructions on how to install HD textures carefully. If you get weird fire textures on blocks, you didn't run Xau's patcher. I am willing to help you with these problems, but please, try to solve it yourself first by following the instructions.
1. Download the HD Texture Fix.
2. Put my texture pack in Minecraft's texturepacks folder, located in "%AppData%\.minecraft\texturepacks".
3. Run the latest HD Texture Fix.
4. Click Patch.
Optional:
0. If using Optimine, install it first! This disables some cool features but the game will run more smoothly. Good for laptops and old PCs. Does not work with HD Fonts!
1. Run HD Texture Fix.
2. Install rest of the mods.
Dungeons (Old picture) (Mushrooms on top of chests are very rare!):
Portals:
Mobs & Animals:
Alternative textures: v1.7

Upcoming changes:
* Fix issues
Known issues:
* Minor pixelation with redstone and doors caused by resizing.
* Shovel may look a bit silly in third person view (inventory) and in other's hands, but gives a more realistic digging instead of smashing dirt. If you don't like this, flip the shovels 90 degrees to their normal position again.
* Leaf block looks gray in inventory and in hand, this is due Notch's biome code.
* Redstone looks really ugly. Blame Notch.
* Redstone repeater has a slight error in inventory as icon (doesn't match with the one you place).
* Bricks do not tile well?
* Loads of things I've forgotten.
I'll try to fix these later on.

History:
It all started on a server called MineFreak. A great community where most are still playing MC. Morton00000 started doing a texture pack, I helped him a bit and he did the same. Some of Morton00000's textures are still used.
When MineFreak stopped for drama and I started with original AngelCraft, I remade the texture pack from 32x32 to 64x64. That's when I decided to name the texture pack after the server's name.
Unfortunatly, AngelCraft lived for 3 days only before it stopped hosting. AngelCraft Redux was made and this texture pack was first distributed for the interested only.
On my mushroom thread, people went really off-topic and only wanted to ask "What is that texture pack you're using?", which almost forced me to release this for the public. And here it is.
Thanks to:
* Misa for her (She's a girl?) awesome texture pack this is based on!
* Mixcraft by Koolwitak for some great textures
* Morton00000 for being a loyal friend and for some textures
* Xau for his HD Patcher
* MrMessiah for BetterLight, BetterGrass
* Zaneris for his minimap mod :smile.gif:
* Sanguine by Copperdomebodha for another set of great textures!
* Ultimate HD Pack for sand.
* Handheld Torch <3
* Anyone I forgot to mention.
200+ downloads and no comments. If I won't get any feedback, I don't feel like publishing public versions anymore as they take time and effort. :sad.gif:
EDIT: Oh, and Wild Grass has been updated for Beta.
EDIT2: Apologies for my bumping. :smile.gif:
What the hell have you done? I downloaded it and it changed the default look of minecraft! i tried deleting the pack, that didnt work ive tried everything! i even uninstalled minecraft itself but no! how do i get it bacK?
That's... weird. Maybe you've done something wrong, I tried a clean install and it worked all fine.
Worked fine for me too. It's all pretty great btw. I don't like the cobble to much myself tho, nor the gravel.
Something more similar to: http://www.tripadvisor.com/LocationPhot ... l#18662664 (5th picture if it doesn't defaultly show that one) And gravel needs some noise n stuff. =D Thanks.
sorry I meant the mossy cobble, also the picture wasn't of mossy. :tongue.gif: I edited it tho, and now I like it a lot, so if you like that as well, then nevermind again. :tongue.gif: The redstone is eh in my opinion as well, Just looks weird :tongue.gif: Also the lava and the water isn't working for me. (yes I have it checked)
A lot has changed here by now. I've left some old textures from previous versions of Misa's 64 texture pack for better look.
Added beta 1.2_01 items, thanks to Misa! HD squid by Misa! Left bedrock, mobspawner, mossy cobble and a few more untouched. Misa just made them worse, so I left them untouched and didn't update to new textures. Misa, we want moss in cobble, not 100% green cobble! Green rock makes no sense! Lever has changed slightly. Custom portal. Doesn't do anything yet. Adds custom portals if used with Xau's latest patcher. New feature! Custom glass. Doesn't do anything yet. I assume the new painting doesn't exist, looking at v1.0, Misa's 64 and 1.2_01 .jar Cart changed again, slightly? New music note particle, thanks to Misa! Removed some unnecessary stuff from terrain.png to mimic Misa. Pumpkin blur was accidently left as non-HD default texture, it's HD now. Custom lava and custom water animation extended, I guess. Also changed the terrain.png lava, though that doesn't matter. Notably larger file size, increased by ~2MB. Water slightly changed, animations are more realistic now. Double foliage. Don't know why, Misa just wanted to do this on her texture pack -> Larger filesize. Maybe moar? I forget things.
Still working on these:
Silly ores Redstone Gravel? That new beta shooting machine trap (Make it look more of cobble instead of bricks). Must be cobble since I prefer sexy cobble over brick looking ones. Change reed icon? I like it yellow-ish but the block is green. :S Sandstone is Misa's texture, color doesn't match with sexy sand. Not probably going to fix this. Doors? I like them a lot (more than Misa's) but pixel-ish. Mobspawner? Reconsidering of changing to new texture. v1.1.1 patch with better furnace/beta shooting machine thingy (stone on top instead of half-step, slightly changed terrain.png) failed, no reason why. Waiting for Xau to fix his patcher. A manual work-around is to patch first and then replace the top with stone. Sorry! Try to deal with ugly furnace for now.
This took a lot of effort for me to update. People love this re-texture of Misa's 64, yet I don't get much of feedback on it. I'd appreciate to have some feedback on it or this will be the last public release.
I'm probably still going to change a lot in here, so many new features and stuff. Note how this fix was based on Misa's textures only, I may release another update with better textures.
I also noticed, never open terrain.png with Paint, it looks like a real mess, tens of textures on top of each other. I've always used GIMP, I just realized this as I accidently clicked Paint instead of GIMP. Seems like some sort of glitch on my side, Misa's textures don't do that when opened with Paint.
Man, I really want to use this, but can't get it to work. I'm following your steps exactly but always results in black screen.
I run the most recent HD patcher, select your .rar as the texture pack, set tile size to 64x64m uncheck custom stuff, hit patch... says it worked (probably). But I get a black screen after logging in :sad.gif:
Hmm, ok, guess I had someone elses texture pack in the textures folder... pulling that out it loads properly. D'oh.
Great work on the pack! But boy, the workbench and chest textures just don't match the quality of the rest of the pack.
Yeah, I'm liking this pack. Love the lapis blocks and the paintings, in particular.
One minor quibble, the stone texture for ore blocks is a lighter shade than the regular stone texture. Looks a bit off... more like your gravel texture than rock. Your lapis ore texture looks spot on.
I really like this texture pack. I've been using it for the last few hours and I think i'll stick to it. Only thing I don't like are the cobble stones. they seem a bit too dark.
I personally like the cobble, yet a few people tell me it's too dark. I'll see what I can do.
@Koolman, I'm not sure what you mean. You want me to post a few pictures or a video of the water?

Yes, I'm aware of this problem. It's been on "Known Issues" for a while. I'll see what I can do. A solution would be moving to Misa's ores but I like these ores...
WHOA! The ghasts look totally ASIAN when they fire their fireballs!
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Every time that someone on the support forums doesn't say anything after I tell them a possible solution, I assume that they are having too much fun enjoying their fixed Minecraft to reply.
This texture pack is excellent, but there is something off about it. The chests and workbenches does not really follow suit of the normal plank texture. In other words: The chests and workbenches look weird and out of place. You might want to replace them with something more suitable.
Nice pack, i tried both the mixcraft pack and Misa's pack and like this one the most. My only beef is with the Workbenches and chests, they look a bit out of place. In my opinion you should've used Misa's chests/Workbench.
