Great texture pack, really. I've been using a 64x 128x 256 texture pack for a while now, but it just doesn't feel like MineCraft anymore. Now I watch YouTube videos about MineCraft ie SeaNanners, CaptainSparklez,Sneakymode etc. And Sneaky had this texture pack on, and it's nice and bright and cheerful, so I clicked on the link and came here. I have no doubts that I won't be using this texture pack for long.
Thanks

Sweet, a high profile Let's Play! That's a milestone there.
You made foliagecolor.png with autumn part. But the grass has the same color everywhere. Can you make a grasscolor.png with different variations too ?
It's a simple pack?
o_O
News to me... I use at least 5 colors for each hue...
On the grass; for 1.5, I made the gradient blueish in snow biomes, and more saturated in rainforests.
Sorry if you think my comment was unrespectfull to your work, I didn't mean that at all.
You can notice I put the words between quotation marks, that mean for me the pack look like simple pack, it's not so far from original feel of Minecraft, but I don't think it's so simple, easy to make.
Well, it's one of the best 16p pack :smile.gif:

I didn't take it wrong; I knew what you meant. I just have some 'issues' with simple packs. Thanks
Hey, I'm planning on posting a texture pack, and I'd like to use an edited version of (most of) your menus in it as a placeholder until I finish my own. Of course I'll give credit and all that, and I'm pretty sure you said it was cool if I ever did so earlier, but I thought I should run it by you again in case you've changed your mind.
Edit: Never mind it, I finished what I needed of the GUI to put out my pack and won't be using yours. :smile.gif:
I've been working hard on biome grass, now that the sides of grass have been fixed. ( )
So far I have slightly desaturated grass for plains, slightly more saturated grass for rainforests and swamps, and blueish grass for taigas and tundras.
I'm still trying to figure out the exact edge of biomes in the gradient.
That may have to do with me being slightly colourblind, but who knows.
You think you can make the difference a little sharper?
I understand that that's kind of against the point of a low contrast pack but still...just askin'.

The color change isn't in the downloadable version. :wink.gif:
Right now I'm working on 1.6; Notch added so much graphical stuff it's gonna take at least until midnight -6 EST.

Just when I was going to ask for an update, I see this post. Thanks for all the hard work you're putting into this texture pack! It just makes Minecraft look so much better. I honestly think this should be the default texture Minecraft should ship with. :wink.gif:
May 26th All content from May 26th is updated!
Rain is now completely changed; as unobstructive as I could make it!
More items have been resprited.
Grass and leaf gradients optimized!
Wood-based appliances such as crafting benches and chests have been redone! Much smoother and easier on the eyes!
Possibly more but I've probably forgotten.
OKAY, FIXED THE GRASS.
Amended the map icon issue!
Thanks

This is easily my favourite 16x16 pack.
Seriously.
It's delicious.

I made a Better Glass pack for this:

Replace the textures in /BetterGlass/ with these after you install.
Edit: Never mind it, I finished what I needed of the GUI to put out my pack and won't be using yours. :smile.gif:

It seems to shift.
Here's a screenshot of the snow grass.
I miss [simg] :dry.gif:

The only texture pack you'll ever need.
I was talking about in your screenshot.
I'm seeing no blue tint.

Retired StaffSeriously? It has to be your colorblindness; I actually had to tone it down a bit after that screenshot.
Lame...
Oh well, maybe it'll be sharper in-game. I probably just couldn't see it due to not seeing a biome line (if that makes any sense).
