I guess this is taking longer because you're separating all the textures manually? If you used the unstitcher I showed you, you can convert your pack in an instant and add the new blocks/items.
I've introduced an autumn color for birch leaves, and added a greener sky for swamp, jungle, and mushroom biomes.
The sky is bluer in deserts and oceans, and paler in taiga and tundras.
The title screen has been revamped.

Ver. 32
April 12th, 2013
'Red'
Fully compatible with 1.5:
Nether quartz ore and building block textures, Animated redstone block texture, Redstone comparator texture, Trapped chest textures, Dropper textures, Daylight detector textures, Hopper textures, Activator rail textures. New minecraft logo, based on the typeface used for Xenocontendi. New panorama on the title screen. New lava texture and animation. New nether portal animation. End portal textures changed. TNT texture is now smoother. Gold block pallet change. Lapis block has been changed so the calcite less resembles the highlights on gem and gold blocks. Birch leaves changed to autumn color. Welcome back to the autumnic age. Foilage and Grass gradients smoothed out more; mountain biomes have lighter grass. Sky color changes with certain biomes. Custom font may have kerning issues. This can be amended by using Optifine. Modloader probably corrects the problem as well.
This may take awhile, as the customizer website will need some time to accommodate the changes made with 1.5.
In the meantime, I could see if I can compile the alternate textures in a sheet, so you'll be able to use them!
EDIT: Here's a quick sheet of the alternate textures. Use 'Save target as...' or click the image in order to get a 1:1 size.
EDIT2: Here's also a ZIP containing the alternatives for a number of other things, such as the digital XP bar, the steel cart and armor entities, and the old square Minecraft logo. The files are placed in directories in the same manner as the texture pack.
There is also a ZIP of all the different moons here, which you can drag to the /environment folder.
This texture pack looks quite nice, i love how smooth it is, and how faithful it is to the default textures, it is of course nice how some of the textures are not that faithful to the default ones, it's sort of a mixed bag. A good one at that.
Anyway, are you thinking of adding more mod textures?
I'm open to making textures for any mod, though some may take longer than others. Certain mods, like TerraFirmaCraft, may take a little too much effort, since there's easily over 200 separate textures to make.
I can't find the old Birch planks in the alternates file.
Also, I have to admit that the portal texture hurts my eyes a little bit.
It's mostly to do with that flickering it has.
Ah, sorry. I seem to have placed the wrong birch texture in the sheet. I've fixed that, now.
For the portal, it's been in the plan to provide a texture without the flickering as an alternative; effectively only the 'darker' frames of the flicker, with some tweaks to make it more opaque.

I can't see the alternates file or your signature.
The Dropbox link isn't working, either.
ed: Never mind, I think it was a problem on my end.
Everything reappeared.
