Great texture! I am glad i found it, i will be using it for a long time! the only thing i suggest is, i cant really tell a diffrence in my diamond sword and iron shovel. as in i cant tell if my tools are diamond or iron. but great job
About the levers... I can see that you expanded the top of them to make them have a different shape, but the concern is the expanded section blends in with the backgrounds inventories and the hotbar.
So at a glance, it looks like it's still the same shape as before. ^^;
As for the planks, I like them! The minor texture differences on the dark and red one as well as the altered highlighting on the light one give each version very subtle differences so they can still be used in tandem with each other without clashing much even though they're obviously different types of wood.
I sorta' have to agree on the diamond/iron difference. While for the sword it's obvious because the diamond has a more complex shape, the shovel and pick tend to confuse me in a pinch, but it's pretty minor.
The Minecraft community in general isn't about "respecting and caring" either. It largely consists of narcissistic children who disregard those other than themselves and like to spout anger, abuse, troll and flame. It is also why any competent multiplayer builder either owns a private server or one where build allowance requires in-depth vetting. If Minecraft was about "respecting and caring" these measures would clearly not be necessary.

That's an error!
The first idea I had was to simply make the stone bit on the end wider. It surprisingly doesn't display on the entity when you place it.
I found that darker lines along it helped greatly to distinguish the two.
I have no clue how the 'wider end' version made its way to the .zip. I'll fix that right away.

I've noticed a common issue is when people mistake diamond armor for iron. I personally can tell the colors apart fine. I've been considering adding things like designs onto the helmet and such to distinguish the two.
Oh my concern isn't the entity (and unless the model is changed the texture won't affect the size), my concern is in the inventory, the item icons.
For the diamond/iron difference it's easy with most items, it's the pick and shovel I personally have issues with. ^^; Don't wanna' be grabbing the wrong tool at the wrong time.

In the next version I'm probably going to edit the nether brick textures so they're more pleasing to the eye. I've found myself rather unhappy with their appearance.
I also have had a request for a hotbar alternative where the selected box's gold rim will pop out a bit, not unlike the vanilla hotbar.

I got this texturepack a few days ago and put it on. I'm thinking it looks amazing so far and deserves further credit to its beauty. It's very smooth and light. A good pack overall and definitely worth trying.
Three questions, because I love bothering you. ^^;
What's with the EXP bar numbers?
I think dog/wolf skins look odd, they're almost entirely shades of grey and look like a lighting error, is that how it's supposed to be? I can grab some screenshots if it's just me or something.
Would you like a short little spotlight video on your pack?

What's with the EXP bar numbers?
This was long before exp was given a purpose; I decided to make nice numbers along the meter so one could keep track of it.
The meter turned out to be very tenuous and didn't fill square-by-square, so the numbers could indeed seem odd.
I can easily remove the numbers if you'd like!
If anyone likes the numbers, let me know.
I can see someone wanting the bar to be green; as the numbers are precoded green. I personally despise the hue of green used for the text and would love to change it.
Messing with green for the foilage is a strange experience. I adore certain colors of green and hate others.
The English language has not suited itself to describing shades of green.

Huh, that doesn't sound right. They're a brownish grey color. A screenshot would be informative.
Somewhat related to the subject: I was actually toying with the idea of making untamed wolves a bit greyer so they could contrast better with the tamed dogs.
I don't really care on the color for the EXP bar as long as it's not something too out-there like bright pink, but to give my two cents as usual I feel a desaturated green might work, something that appears to be slightly-transparent when compared with the background color.
My concern wasn't so much the primary color, but the lack of definition. The contrast is so low, and the color scheme so narrow, that other than the facial features (first shot) they just look like dark blobs (second shot).
I know the pack focuses on a lack of harsh contrast, but the wolves seem to be an extreme example compared to other mobs (creepers have contrast, skeletons have enough definition for it to not matter, zombies have pants , etc.), to the point where I thought it was a lighting glitch on my part (I tend to mess with shader mods and such from time to time).
Awesome, I'll see what I can make. What's the proper pronunciation of the pack and your username? ^^;
EDIT: Also, is it just me or are the clouds messed up?
Other texture packs don't seem to have this issue.

I've messed with colors in the GUI now, and I have to say: I rather dislike having green in the pallet.
It seems very odd.
I'll probably make the bar less 'sectioned', however.

I've tried making untamed wolves greyer and darkening the shading on their coats. The detailing is much more obvious now!

Xenocontendi is pronounced something like: Zee-no-con-ten-dee.
The latter part, contendi, is where the word 'contend' comes from.
Disethas is a bit more complex.
Disethas can rhyme with
'His DEATH Mess'
or perhaps
'Frizz METH Less'
The emphasis is on the middle syllable.
dɪsɛθɛs is the notation in IPA.
I also tend to speak the θ with stress on the T, and the S at the end may or may not come out like a Z. The A near the end is very light, so it usually ends up closer to an E sound.

Huh. I always pronounced it dis-EE-thas. Or something. A few things:
I like the new levers. They're very clever. (haha)
I would be averse to a change in the XP bar - I like it as it is, with the numbers on it and especially the colour - but the actual "level" indicator/number needs changing, yes.
Personally I don't find it hard to distinguish between diamond and iron, I like the shade of blue you've used for it, but that's just me. I would like if the diamond tools/armour had extra designs on them, something a bit more intricate or ornate than your everyday, hard-working iron tools. Maybe something crystalline? Not sure how that would work.
I'm pretty much okay with everything else I see here. Keep it up, Disethas.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to change the color of the number indicator without deeper modding. A similar problem is present with swamps and sheep wool.
I would tend to agree that the numbers along the bar are superfluous due to the changes since 1.8's prereleases.

Retired StaffGood eye; didn't notice until you pointed it out. Thanks.
The fix for that should be added very soon, alongside new netherbrick, magma slimes, and perhaps other changes.

That would be fantastic, actually. I feel rather obscure.

I'm fine with no letters or segment markings.
