For the Iron Golems I went with a Gort sort of look-- from The Day the Earth Stood Still.
They seemed like a similar concept:
a giant metallic behemoth who relentlessly protects strange little menKeanu Reeves.
I also made the flowers growing on them red like roses. They give out roses, not yellow flowers.
Huzzah! Prompt work Disethas, loving it. Did you get the new Sandstone and Circle Stone Brick textures? You've also not textured the Nether mobs (namely the Blaze... it looks all checkerboard =P) And there may be some other blocks, but I forget. Keep up the great work anyways!

I think I've actually textured everything but the Magma Cube. The checkerboard look is an attempt at a dithering effect.

Oh, I see. It's a bit weird in my opinion... but I haven't seen much of Blazes anyway. =/ And I had forgotten about the Magma Cube. Anyway, that's cool.
Really awesome texture pack! I've been using it for a while now, and I don't see a reason to change.
One thing I've come to dislike, however, is the yellow selected item box (for the hotbar inventory). It's too light IMO, and hard to see without directly looking at it. For someone that's constantly organised - like me- and uses the stand-out colour to select stuff, it's quite annoying. Perhaps make the yellow darker, the rest of the hotbar darker, or change the colour?

Hmm, here's a comparison of mine and vanilla's:
Original looked more like a severed yellow head than a fire elemental. I tried to amend that.
I may change the rods orbiting around them. They do seem rather mundane.

Thank you for the comparison, I see what's wrong now. The face has no discernible eyes, and it both doesn't fit with the Minecraft style (of... having eyes) and looks wrong, or out of place. And yes, the rods do look a bit plain, almost as if they don't have a texture and they're just using some kind of default texture. Checkerboard tends to give that effect, unless it's black and white (don't make them black and white =P) Just my two cents here.

I was thinking along the lines that their eyes are glowing, with an almost skull-like head.
Don't worry, I'll probably change the rods by the next update.

Good job. I personally think that the problem with the eyes is that they're not distinct from the face. If they really did glow, you might get the impression of a sort of hollowness, but it's just not there and that's a hard impression to give in the medium of a Blaze's head. They need to be made distinct in another way, therefore. That's just my opinion though. One more thing, however - the Bottle o' Enchanting has no texture in the latest pack as far as I can see (in that I can't see anything =P)
I was wondering is there any way to change the villagers without extensive modding? It's odd seeing two bearded guys go up to each other, hearts appear, suddenly there's a little bearded man-baby running around...
Sort of an announcement:
For those of you who want a swamp biome with no discoloration, you can disable that using Optifine.
It's notable that swamps in real life don't have darker foilage and are quite beautiful.

This is now amended. I swapped some textures and the children now look fine.
I can't really fix the greek love though.
I'm really picky with texture packs, and am always looking for one to use... and I found it with yours. The low contrast while still keeping a vanilla feel (yet everything still being retextured) is exactly what I've been looking for, and it's quite an enjoyable pack.
The Minecraft community in general isn't about "respecting and caring" either. It largely consists of narcissistic children who disregard those other than themselves and like to spout anger, abuse, troll and flame. It is also why any competent multiplayer builder either owns a private server or one where build allowance requires in-depth vetting. If Minecraft was about "respecting and caring" these measures would clearly not be necessary.
