I've made yet another mod compatibility thingie.
This one's for Simple Alchemy.
I can show you what the potions themselves look like, however it appears that, even in default texture pack, I can't see the buff icons.
Left to right:
Health, Firebrand, Speed, Shield, Regen, Thorn, Extension, Strength.
Firebrand looks silly when you're holding it, but I couldn't figure out how to get across the fact that it's "hot". Download
I think it would be fine to just leave off the smoke strands; firebrand already looks nearly glowing in comparison to the bowl.
If you're curious about what the icons look like, here's a compilation of them rendered on a bit of my stone noise:
I tried transplanting the buffs, but it didn't work...
The mod's icons are 13x13, whereas that is 18x18.
13x13 is an awful size to work in oh god
And yeah, I took the smoke off. Because it looked silly.
That's the raw buff icon file, with a 2x thing for detail.
Left to right: Health Regen, Firebrand, Speed, Armor, Thorns, and Strength.
Underneath the pick in Strength is a crit particle.

How's this:
Made them look a bit more consistant with the 18p ones; put a stone texture underneath the blown up versions.
Edit: Just noticed that the icons go in the top left of the screen for the mod. Might add a stone slab individually for each one.
i wish theres a way to completely remake the towns ppl, so they give u quest, and area to find and go to for mini or long term adv, and or dungeons. mind craft makes half rate as of now... (1.9.2 pre)
but like like that one town mod, but i love to have more options and ****.. and they rebuild there homes and all on there own, and or they have more then 1 type of look depending area u find the town...
but i love the idea, always wanted sessions within this game.. (might b wrong with what u had... u might just doing a recolor)
1 thing i wantted it flooding in minecraft while its raining, and or make puddles all around and source blocks

...what does that have to do with anything?
Anyways, yeah, your version is loads better.
I'd try to size them down a bit and put them in proper icons, with stone backing and everything. Not too sure how easy that'd be, however.
Also, for some random ass reason your inventory.png had a missing pixel. Bottom left inventory box. I fixed it myself, but just thought you should know.
ed: I found the reason why the clocks were messing up.
For some dumb, asinine reason, Mojang changed the transparency colourkeys ever so slightly.
The new pinks are cc00cc for the outer, and ff00ff for the inner.

Really!? Okay, that's fixed, along with the missing pixel.
Updated to the third prerelease.
Obsidian has a lower color count now, for texturing reasons. It shouldn't pose much of a difference.
I added a more prominent crossguard for the firebrand buff.
So...I tried making an alternate.png font file for the enchantment table.
I transliterated most of the Medieval era Runes, and replaced the empty spots (j, w, and x) with alternate runes (J is Æ, W is alternate Y because both of them are dipthongs, and X is alternate S, because similar sounds).
However, it appears that the game doesn't replace that file in texture packs for some reason.
In case that does happen though, here's the file in case you want to use it.

Medieval Runes:
In game screenshot (made by replacing the file in the jar, has an older version of A):
ed: Main reason why I decided to try this was the GSA looked odd to me.
So, I decided to try something more stereotypically magical, such as runes.
This texture pack has a vague viking/celt feel to it, so...Medieval Runes.
I think they look pretty good, but...uh...yeah.

I actually had a similar idea in the works. It's more centered around the phoenican alphabet than runes. I'm also planning to use them as decor when I finish with the planning stages.
That is admirable work, however. I could use it as an alternate font on the customizer if you like.
I updated it so that there's some Elder Futhark in it. I wasn't happy with J and W, and apparently Elder Futhark had glyphs for those.
The P looking thing is the W, and the J is the funky looking crooked box. The B and P were also changed, due to me not really finding a way to not make them look immediately like a B.
But yeah, go ahead with the customizer. That's what I made it for :V
For the moon phases in... the fourth prerelease of the 10th version of the beta of Minecraft, I have three different methods.
First is assuming both the moon and planet (Earth?) are cubes/squares.
The second makes absolutely no geometric or astrological sense. But it looks very nice.
The third method is a sphere; with a round shadow.
With the first square method, I'm assuming the relative size of the moon is a bit larger than the 'Earth' and sun.

Update the pack, it didn't have them for a while.
It does now, though.

Here's the version with slabs:
Already found the biome itself. It's a bit more complicated than that; I just need a bit of time.
Thankee.
Ooh, perfect. That looks amazing.
Although, I have to say that the sword looks like a feather.

I had to go commando and use commands and search for that specific file aka .minecraft THANK YOU SO MUCH!
The Pre-Release 3 download is just linking be to the Pre-release 2 one.
I'm not seeing the alchemy stand, or anything else like that.

Retired StaffThe End is thoroughly creepy.
If you want to see enderdragons in this version, use this mod.
