Keep up the good work! Xenocontendi is a great texture pack! I have a couple of suggestions. Namely maybe considering making watermelon just a bit more contrast. It's completely washy and pathetic in Vanilla, and yours is much better, but maybe it still needs a bit more contrast between stripes. Some cultivars have almost black stripes and they look very nice in RL (maybe it's just my personal preference). Your giant amanita mushroom prolly needs some work too, it looks a bit toneless. Also, is it possible to change UI pics of regular mushrooms to be a bit bigger? They are so small it's hard to tell what kind of mushroom it is when they are in stacks, numbers cover them almost completely. Thanks!
I have to say, I'm not particularly fond of the "endermen have floating heads" thing.
Makes them look kinda...silly.
Case in point:
edit: Also, their pearl texture in "items" is missing.
Wow, that looks horrible.
I haven't had time to find an enderman for a reference. I figured the area underneath their face was another piece, because of the texture Notch sent out.
I'll fix that soon. That was definitely not the intent.
EDIT:
Here we go, it's done. Download
I've also fixed the record problem, and the problem with the dot on the leather cap.
Chests are now textured properly.

I do like the darker stripes on the melons, and I have no clue what Mojang was thinking with their melon texture.
I thought it was a rotten pumpkin at first. I want to keep it smooth, however, to keep with the theme of the rest of the textures.

I've noticed this problem, however the images in the UI are the same as the shrooms in the world.
They're technically a block, rather than an item.
I would have to increase the size of the actual shroom to make it work.
I'm still seeing the endermen's head floating after you look at them.
Supposedly, they open their mouths when they're attacking.

">Aye, I've noticed this.
However, one problem was I had clipped off a section of the Enderman's upper face, which made it higher, even when normal. I closed that up.
I see you still haven't made an Enderpearl texture.
Until you have, I've made a placeholder, because having invisible items in my inventory makes me nervous. It's not very ethereal, but I think it blends in alright.

I'd fixed that awhile ago. Redownload and it should be okay.
Sorry about the troubles with the items.png.
I think the next thing I'm going to do is update all of my mod GUIs for this, to utilize the celtic knotwork (where applicable) and to just in general pretty everything up.
Nice Pearl texture, btw.
Lots better than my dull green sphere. It's nice and mysterious.
Every other texture pack i tried made the outside look boring and dark, NOT this one that's why i love it <3 (btw wood homes look very great!)

Disethas, yer original post is a bit... broken. Ought fix it.
On a side note, awsome textures as usual - like the Ender Pearl!
EDIT:
The customizer hasn't been updated for the 1.8 either.
Also, sometimes I downloaded a customized file and a file or two is missing for some reason. I'd rather download the normal download and select the files (bed, sanded wood, moon) myself, but I don't know how to, could you include a "readme" to provide instructions on doing that? Assuming that the normal download contains all the extra files, that is. And I believe there are instructions for this but only for the moon, I don't know where the other files are stored.
EDIT:
And, uh, the logo on the title screen isn't very... clear? Distinct? It looks a bit weird against the panorama.
1.8 isn't the main download. It's not officially released; 1.7.3 is still the current version.
Well, for (your) future reference, I'm using the pack and don't as yet see anything needing fixing.
Actually, while I think of it, is it possible to edit the portal texture? I know MCPatcher supports patching
of portal textures along with lava/water/etc.
Hint: Awesome
ed:
edos: You're also missing the textures for the music disks. Also, the leather helmet has a 2x2 black dot in the upper left.

Retired StaffOh, sorry!
Fixed; it didn't seem to select the files properly.
Supposedly, they open their mouths when they're attacking.

Retired StaffXenocontendi is definitely the best way to view 1.8 though :wink.gif:

There fixed it for you, bud.
I am not a troll, silly.
On that note...where'd my post go?
ed: Huh...wasn't aware of the "troll calling" rule.
I can't say I agree with it.
edos: Another little bug.
Your half-armor icon texture is now backwards, due to the armor bar being above the health bar.
Thank you Dise : )
