in the plethora will there be the quandery style torches?
Probably not, but I will consider making a texture similar to it. But before I do that... I must understand the ways of fire! (I'm not sure if I have represented the correct color for fire... it seems too yellow... so I must fix this.)
I know this would be very low on your priorities, but could you change the armour textures to look like some real types? Like the iron could be some light mail and plate with a nasal helm, the gold could look like a king with a crown, and diamond could look like thick plate armour and a great helm.

Someday...
The idea is in consideration, but you know my priorities.
I like this pack but can't live with the orange glowstone. How do I use the alternate content? Or when will the customizer be up?
I think Cpt Corn going to have the customizer up pretty soon, but in the meantime, you can edit it yourself with any image editor, like gimp, photoshop, or hell, I think even paint would work. Download 7zip, use it to open the corterie craft zip file as an archive, copy the terrain.png file to your desktop or wherever you want to work with it. From there, just copy and paste your alternate choice of textures in, save the file, and drag it back into the zip file.
I used this method to change the obsidian, pumpkin, and solid metal block textures myself.

If you haven't noticed, I have a whole bunch of glowstone alternatives inside the pack... not that I would know how many would be able to use it...
Regardless, knowing that there is a demand for the customizer... I'll be trying my best to texture Beta 1.8, and afterwards... I launch the customizer. However, I feel like doing it all in one update if I manage to do so all this weekend.
In the next update, I can assure you that you will have your block-style gold, iron, and diamond.
There's no rush on my part - I'm happy just editing in my own changes in the meantime. :smile.gif:
Although that's cool to know that the alternates are all ready in the pack! I hadn't realized that. Going to have to mess around and really test to see which style I like best.
You can find the default in the minecraft jar. Open it as an archive with 7zip as well. :smile.gif:
Edit: Well now I just seem crazy, quoting stuff that ain't there.
I'm the crazy one, lol. It's all my fault for deleting my post. I used the texture from the wiki. And thanks for the info.
In case anyone's as dumb as I am, replacing the glowstone texture is apparently not as simple as that. After replacing it with the default one , there were bad lighting glitches (patches of black). I'll happily wait for Cpt. Corn's good work instead.
You know what, I'm getting the urge to release Plethora soon... At least so that it is convenient for you guys to select alternative textures.
But before I issue v2.0, marking the beginning of Plethora, I must finish the vine texture I've been working on all weekend!
I tell ya... that vine texture rued the day! I normally stray from doing foliage textures, so this was surely a learning experience for me, though painstaking. Anyways... once I get that texture done (and the iron bars texture, which is a piece of cake!), then I'll release v2.0 when Plethora is ready in the same respect, but don't expect much... we only supply iron, gold, glowstone, and diamond; which is 100+ textures anyway.
Unfortunately, the weekend has ended and its back to me and my studies. I'll certainly find time eventually, but you can't always predict an update will come soon... I just hope I can update before the weekend comes around, without an update. @[email protected]
i have always only used this texture pack but when i saw that you discontinued the croterie craft custom i was very dissapointed so could you please put the customizer back on

No need to be disappoint! I am giving the customizer a new, innovative beginning.
To put it simply...
DISCONTINUED = Coterie Craft Custom
AWAITING RELEASE = Plethora: The Coterie Craft Customizer
No worries, my friend... in good time, the customizer will launch in the next update, as long as everything goes smoothly. :wink.gif:
This is my current favourite texture pack. I downloaded it a few days back, and .. it just blew my face off my skull. I was going to download it much earlier, but .. something put me off. I can't remember what it was. So, I decided to just go for it, and I have no regrets. I think it's the only perfect pack out there.
Do you want to know something? If diamonds are a rating system, then .. / 5.
And yes, I'm aware there's six there.
Why thank you, KnuXles!
However, my pack ain't perfect, not yet... I say, its a progression to perfection. Though knowing that so many enjoy the pack, I guess I am on the right track so far!
I simply can't get into any other texture packs, I nitpick on particular details and just about every other pack screws up in some way (I hate when ore blocks are made to show one giant chunk of said ore), and me using a 32x pack is rare; any higher and it's not happening at all, I think high-resolution textures don't fit the style of the game and actually looks worse in the end. Quandary, and now Coterie are the only packs I actually like, you're definitely on the right track.

(Hmm... on my free time maybe, I could make that smiley!)
