As for the current brick-style cobble, I want to provide a entirely new rock-style cobble! But knowing that the current cobble has been iconic in my pack for a long time, I will need to make it the best rock-style cobble in the texture pack community! If I do not succeed, then I will either have to keep our current style of cobble or try again until its perfect!
I just don't see a point in two brick-styles of cobble is all. We sure could use a rock-style cobble knowing that a brick-style cobble is going to be available soon.
You best tread carefully around this cobble situation, its usually the make or break when people choose texture packs. i for one like your current cobble. With 1.8 there will be stronghold cobble, but ive built my whole town in 1.7 with that cobble style, i dont want it to look bad with a different cobble D: so yea, get that shiz in the customizer. there will be like 3 levels of cobble, your upcomming rocky cobble, the current cobble, and stronghold blocks... that is of course, BEFORE you start customizing lol...

Since I don't want to risk it, I think I'll just put that cobble on hold, for now. It will certainly take a lot of time just to create it in the first place, more so to get it spot on... and even then, it might not even be within everyone's preferences.
Texturing content from Beta 1.8 is much more important!
One of the many concerns I have for this pack is to create original, new content that's more than just edited Quandary. At the same time, I want to allow the pack to have it all-in-one; to satisfy the highest majority of persons possible in one swing of the textures I have presented them! But knowing that there will be a demand for customizing, I guess it will solve the problem of personal preference as long as I have the textures to make it so. And knowing that school is on top of this, I can only progress so much at a time.
Umm... WongTheBuilder's quote was made back in January. :laugh.gif:
But if I were to answer his question, I would tell him that I have featured two tutorial vids within a spoiler at near the top of the original post. Certainly, I hope everyone knows those vids are there in the first place for your convenience.
Took me entirely too long to realize why some things had blank textures while playing the pre-release. Lol I have become so accustomed to this pack I didn't even think that I had to "turn it off" to see 1.8 as it was supposed to. Look forward to your interpretation.

Speaking of pre-release, there are some more textures that I will have to consider texturing.
*cracks knuckles*
Onward to texturing!
EDIT: Woah, more people are on the thread today (I usually get an average of one foreign member besides myself, if not two; I now see 7 in total!)... I must release an update as soon as I can! There is so much left to do, but I think I can cram it in with a Coterie polish.
Which is why textures like these take so long... I am fairly inexperienced, but I surely have potential; with which I am capable of creating quality work! :cool.gif:
Considering that texturing all the unexpected (though necessary) from the new leaked version will take some time, I figure that I'll just release what I got done and work on it progressively. After I finish up on a few textures...
Wow. Nice redstone! I prefered the old one however. Can you include both new and old redstone?
P.S. RUGBY WORLD CUP! I LIVE IN NEW ZEALAND!!! :biggrin.gif:

Curse PremiumNot quite.
When someone makes stairs or slabs out of that 3-layer, it won't flow as well as 4-layered or 2-layered cobble...
But in general, its close to the idea of my new cobble. But again, I'm going to put that texture on hold.

Curse PremiumSure, I'll put it in the customizer after I update.
I suppose I should make the bottom variant with less noise, right?
P.S. WOAH! :biggrin.gif:

Curse PremiumAfter I reach Beta 1.8 stability, then I will be able to take requests, do modding support, customization, etc.
And just so you know, I have been willing to make those textures you have suggested for quite some time. :wink.gif:
