In all honesty, I meant to give you this link and then copy the link from the download button, paste it here... and expect you to click a regular link. But the thing above isn't a link... this is an mp3. Whoa... the possibilities!

EDIT2: By the way, I just listened to the whole song... I'm not too fond of it, as it turns out. :laugh.gif: (watch out kids, there are some strong words in some sections of the song, especially the end part! )

New bricked cobble for 1.8, new stone slabs... topping it off with some nice glowstone.

So... you know the drill, the before-and-after side-by-side comparison to exhibit my latest work.


I sure hope I have the time to update it soon. Unfortunately, quality takes time... but well worth it!

The bottom variant was actually made for the strongholds, just so there is no confusion. As far as the cobble we have currently... I personally want to replace it with a new rock-style cobble design; it must be flawless in order to surpass the current brick-style!

If the stone bricks: The first brick looks better in my opinion.
Smooth or not, it's more detailed than the bottom variant.

I'm just exhibiting the two textures just so you can see the new style of brick cobble. However, the bottom variant was made in response to the new brick-style cobble that will be featured in strongholds when Beta 1.8 comes out... with that in mind, I probably should have let you guys see the default cobble; for it is surprisingly well done, it truly was a difficult texture to surpass.

As for the current brick-style cobble, I want to provide a entirely new rock-style cobble! But knowing that the current cobble has been iconic in my pack for a long time, I will need to make it the best rock-style cobble in the texture pack community! If I do not succeed, then I will either have to keep our current style of cobble or try again until its perfect!

I just don't see a point in two brick-styles of cobble is all. We sure could use a rock-style cobble knowing that a brick-style cobble is going to be available soon.

Why not create a semi-brick, semi-rock style cobble? I've seen many packs do it before, and I think it'll work just fine.

I won't replace the texture until you guys approve with me of its quality. And even if I do, I will have to put that texture in the customizer.

Redoing the cobble is, perhaps, the last thing on my list for Beta 1.8 texturing.

Using the knowledge gathered from Minecraft wiki and general research from Google, I remade the mushroom sprites entirely.
