As you can tell, I am quite proud of this skin! More so than my ordinary Steve skin, as I have refined his facial features just right... definitely adding this new Steve to the pack in the next update.

Just got sued...
I used painterly ... like a religion ... since it was released
Then i find your humble texture pack, and i read about how you consider painterly "noisey" along with many others ... ive always loved the default 16x16 texture packs and despise the hi-res packs ... so painterly hit the spot ...
BUT BY JOVE, youve certainly knocked painterly off of its podium ! BEAUTIFULL pack everything fits, and everything, as you've aimed for, seems very "minecrafty" very "default" which is great !
The only thing painterly has, that you lack ... is the GREAT deal of customization ... i know you have a customizer ... but painterlys ... gosh =p
Id also like to throw some more brownie points on the table for how active you are in your thread, its really shows us that you are ACTUALLY working on the pack, which of course encourages us fans to donate and such
Couple of points,
1. cant wait to the Clay Soldier support !
2. cant wait for more Aether Support
3. id like to request Zip-line Support ... considering how brilliant everything else you've done already is, i wonder what cards you could bring to this table ?
So yeah, Thanks for being a brilliant texture-er ... and perhaps more regular smaller updates ? ... personally i prefer lots of small new things, as opposed to a huge update every month or so ... Adios =p

You gave me an idea, my good sir.
Painterly has been getting a bad rap for being, as you said, noisey for so long. I think all Rhodox needs is a person like me to refine his textures so that they wouldn't look so pixelated. And I know he can dish out some awesome texture structures... but never really gave them a nice feel, and even now... he must keep that style as he has thousands of textures.
I'm proposing a new texture package, Plethora. (Coterie + Painterly = Plethora)
Plethora would act as the center of my Coterie customizer... where works of Quandary and works of Painterly would go through my refinements. And if you didn't know, ExtraNoise even made some textures for Rhodox, so it would be a unifying customizer all together. To unify this relationship into a trinity of epic proportions!
Surely, it is a good plan. Plethora FTW!
But in my current situation, with being a senior in school in all, I can't work on the pack as much as I want to. :dry.gif: However, I still reply to everyone of you because I don't want anyone of you to feel ignored, as many big time pack authors have done (I think)... and it improves the pack, as you guys contribute so much with your ideas and demands.
And about donations... I can't accept any money from here until I'm 18, so I hope by May 2012 that people are still interested in Minecraft and my pack. Perhaps I could get Rhodox to hold on to my money if I do release Plethora... and Plethora, knowing Yogscast loves Painterly, might become the next big thing if I do a good job.
Alright... on to your points. And they all are up for approval! But at the same time, I heard Beta 1.8 is coming soon... so I must be prepared, and juggle schoolwork too. Oh, and since Master is being the Handyman (Wingman if you want to call it), I'll have to release my version of it, or else it would seem too unofficial!
And since I know a lot of people want more frequent updates, I might as well do just that. I'll try to see if I can update every Sunday night, which may also mean that your Mondays will be a lot less... Monday. :cool.gif:
Many thanks for sharing your thoughts and praise! It's always a pleasure to receive them on the thread.
Updated trailer of Macropolis, using the last Coterie Craft (I'm aware of new things coming this Week End but I'm not redoing the views anytime soon ;p ). Feel free to change the vid in the FP Corn :smile.gif: Cya soon !
At long last, a new vid!
I have posted my personal criticisms in comparison of the old vs the new vid to you in a private message on YouTube.
I'll try to update every Sunday night to ensure that improvement can be expected in the pack.
Notch spoke about the upcoming 1.8 Adventure Update, and more! We will have
Confirmed so far:
cobwebs
endermen
new lighting
experience orbs
rivers
oceans
food-eating animation
variable-strength bow (hold it longer for more damage)
new (and expanded) biomes
1.8 will add Creative Mode
Creative Mode will have flight
Considering that Notch will feature "new (and expanded) biomes," I think it would be a better investment of my time that I should choose not to release seasons until after Beta 1.8 and primarily focus on the core of the pack as well as modding support.
And one thing this quote forgets to mention is the possibility that Beta 1.8 will have a new ore... as confirmed from a school friend who will most likely end up as a modder for the Coterie Craft name someday...

For me, I find the description to be the most compelling out of the whole download... 'tis a great short story!

Curse Premium(You might want to click the image to get a better look, if you haven't already)
Now that I think about it...
Remember the cheese lava accompanied by the more recent cheese glowstone? Well, its a surprise know one called it Cheese World for some reason.
Nevertheless, I have purged the Nether of its cheese and look forward in providing the latest assortment of standardized textures--New Default.
So if you think this pack is good now? Just you wait! Update coming Sunday, like a boss.
