I've been gone for awhile because of school stuff and what not...
So... *cracks knuckles*
Natural Texture Mod didn't fair so well as I once thought it did. I suppose it would only work properly for textures that aren't seamless like mine. :laugh.gif:
About adf.ly, I'm a bit hesitant to provide an adf.ly in order to "support" me. Downloading it without adf.ly is my preference... oh, and many thanks for the license, I'll install that in the New OP. :cool.gif: (Better yet, I should do it now!)
Oh, and yes, we have evolved greatly since then! Makes me wonder if you (or I) should make a new logo though. Because I believe that New Default needs a more sleek form for its logo... although its not a priority.
And about that brony thing... perhaps I should still advertise it here, but probably give it a separate thread... ah... whatever, I'll worry about it later...
(phew.... To answer a big multi-quoted post like this is quite the challenge!)
So the only season you're planning is autumn? I would like some other seasons...
Nah... don't be silly. :laugh.gif:
Autumn is just the first season I want to release... Summer, Spring, and Winter will come afterward in the future.
Oh, and I just remembered! I FINALLY fixed the stone texture... It sure took awhile to get it right, but it'll be there for the next update. Stone that I can finally call, "New Default!"
Perhaps you should attempt to capture more islands, golden trees, and perhaps some mobs.
However, I will be releasing more Aether content and what not sometime this week or next week. I just need to finish stone-oriented textures, as I have perfected stone at long last! (I would be surprised to see the texture receive any more improvement.)
The Aether's been updated, a bunch of new blocks have been added. Also, the Aether armour sprites are still Coterie, but the models (when I equip the armour) have reverted back to default for some reason. Might want to look into that.
There is a new file called power.png, which is in the armor folder. I believe it is texturable and used for the electrified creeper.
It is texturable and can be done. We have a lightning sword from the aether mod so we can certainly see the power.png in the works, making it much easier to texture!

Yea... its unfortunate that the sprites have color overlays which while the armor models are a separate thing to texture.
Also, my bro installed the latest Aether update today and I saw quite a few features that looked pretty cool, but then I wasn't too happy about a few things they did.
Two words: More Color Overlays! :dry.gif:
yea, I know it was three words
So even though I like the update, in a way, I am still appalled by the use of color overlays.
One of many reasons I don't like color overlays, here is just the most noticeable one:
Not only does it create that bug, the glove texture itself doesn't have the kind of white shine as it could have had, similar to its default counterpart armor models.
The color overlay also limits my color choice, so... gloves will have to remain like this until its fixed:
I currently have a school friend of mine trying to decompile the mod and hopefully replace those color overlays to what they should be--separate textures!!! He's new at modding, but we'll see what he can dish out. :cool.gif:
One of the main perks of Spout is that there is a plug-in that can rotate texture packs, by this I intend that this texture pack can rotate seasons editions of Coterie Craft. I know this has been done by a few others already, so I need to get to work on those! Though its just a shame school work will have to be the priority before I can even get to work on those... oh well, I'll try to do it when I can...
In my mind, I believe I will release a total of 5 new texture packs on Planet Minecraft by then... at least to spread my content fairly
They include the following:
Coterie Craft Central ("New Default" as download)
Fall seasonal edition (released in v1.7.1)
Winter seasonal edition (released in v1.7.2)
Spring seasonal edition (released in v1.7.3)
Summer seasonal edition (released in v1.7.4)
Coterie Craft 12-month seasonal package (Please use the seasonal rotator!) (released in v1.8!)
Release notices are unofficial... but surely a good plan. :cool.gif:
I hope that the people that experience gray grass and leaves don't have to miss out on all this... that would be a shame... but a misfortune is the bug still exists for them...
Another idea on top of all this is to also allow the Aether to adhere to the seasons! As long as the developers of that mod don't screw it up with more color overlays!
If you see the glowstone in the vid (more accurately, the glowstone shown in the picture above before you start playing the vid), the lighting for the glow is just right...
I'll replicate it as the New Default of glowstone, adhering to the amount of detail like the current glowstone. As does the fan-made works associated with Minecraft that interpret the textures in many ways, such as the fan art of pure green creepers... and not the actual white and green pixelated creeper.
Wow, that vid above had very good lighting effects. Also I tried out that HD cartoon texture pack..as usual I decided I did not like it Im not going anywhere anytime soon
edit: I tried to paly the Aether but my portal spawned on a bouncy cloud so I got kinda annoyed

Oh, sry. I haven't yet... But seems like a quick mod to texture... so I'll try to fit it in. (though I am thinking about redoing the clay, but perhaps its fine as it is?)
One question for you though... for I see in your signature, the ever popular, "Diggy Diggy Hole!" How would I go about representing this meme in some way?

Well there are three ways: 1. Honeydew dwarf pic
2. The diggy-cheivment
3. The video it's self
but if you meant in the pack use the clay soldier mod and use a honeydew dwarf skin for one of the types of claymen

Curse PremiumYea... looks pretty nice don't it. :laugh.gif:
Made me a bit hesitant to post it here on the first place... because I know a lot of people like to test those nice HD packs. :cool.gif:
But a good example, nevertheless, for showing the way he licensed his pack.

Curse PremiumI originally got the notice from the Macropolis.fr server admin, VladvonDrack (ToitagL) on the Macropolis forums.

Curse PremiumIf that is possible for the clay soldier mod... then I'll do it!
"Why so serious?" :cool.gif:
