Banners, however, can be found by clicking the anchor to the 'Banners' Section in the Index. You are given five banners to choose from... in which you copy the code and paste it in your signature when you edit your profile.

The special version I provided was the first one of its kind. For it was meant as a present to my friend who lives in France. It was the only gift I could have offered as she lives half-way around the world from where I am. And she loved it, so much so that she had a hard time finding the words to describe her gratitude; so I'm very happy of that. :laugh.gif:
If I am to make more special versions, I would do them from time to time, but with a reason and or passion like the first one. I would be interested in creating the sort of content people yearn to have... content like the Nyan Cat that deserved to become available in the world of Minecraft.
And if you are interested, I must tell you that I am very eager to start a new texture pack separate from this one. It has come to my attention that there are many fans of this fantastic cartoon, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, who are also a part of the Minecraft Community... 'bronies' they are referred to. Disappointingly, the texture packs some people have made for the fans of the show have came up with are underdeveloped and lack the proper detail and attention in which I intend to provide. As I am a very big fan of this amazing cartoon. :cool.gif:
The new OP will take a long time to develop, as I expect it might, as I am coming up with a clever design and format that I have described below. Anyone who wishes to bring their ideas as to how it should be done are welcomed to do so...
So far, I am considering the following from top to bottom: (from a geographical perspective)
-Coterie Craft Title Screen ||| The very top will probably show the Minecraft title logo that I have made in-game and below the title will be a story of its origin (remade to provide brief and proper detail), which is hidden unless you choose to open its spoiler (as I intend to save space). The story will feature the default map texture from the top representing a lengthy scroll coming downward with, as a background on the sides, an in-game look at the default textures transitioning to Coterie as you read more of the story of origin... towards the end of the scroll I would like to show the Coterie map texture as a nice finishing transition. The spoiler can remain hidden as those who have already read it do not need to see it more than once when they scroll down. From the title screen we go to the following...
-Macropolis' Aether Background or a place in the clouds ||| Featuring the index with anchored pictures (like a main menu selection screen). As I intend for the whole OP to have color, the void of the standard forum-white... so I will produce a nice sky transition from sky blue to the forum-white to provide flexible space for announcements and what not, as every author needs.
-The World of Minecraft ||| Like the picture I have presented HERE, I want to provide a diorama of the earth with Coterie textures in its place. A better representation of displaying my textures can be discussed amongst yourselves... please do share your ideas, of course. A place for the screenshots are most likely going to be featured in a spoiler above this section or without a spoiler shown below the earth below the Nether portion of the diorama. Banners and other content will probably be available below the bedrock as well. The sprites and armor models, on the other hand is still being considered as to how they will be featured in the new format. Risugami's shelf mod would make a nice way to show the sprites in-game.
-Beyond the Bedrock ||| Version history and other lengthy things will be stored in a spoiler below the bedrock to save space. It's the void......
I am aware that the new OP will present itself with a resolution no wider than 728 pixels... so I do not know how much detail is visible when I start developing.

I love it!!! This is definitely what Minecraft should look like, by default.
Just one thing though, I'd like the water to be a bit darker.
I'm more concerned about the watercolor.png, which isn't active (but probably will be). Though if the water looks better a tad darker... then I will make the change.
When I'm not using DokuCraft, I'm using Gerudoku. When I'm not using Gerudoku, I'm using faithful. When I'm not using faithful... I am stuck with the horrible default textures. Horrible, horrible default textures...
I have nightmares where water is a almost lapis-lazuli coloured blue and stones look like pixels that were put in a shredder, then eaten by a piranha, then caught by a fisherman, then cooked over a fire then eaten by the fisherman's wife, then put through the sewerage system, then washed into the ocean, then precipitated into the cobblestones that are what are drawn in Minecraft.
This is probably one of the many reasons why people make texture packs. If default already looked good, there wouldn't be as many texture packs. :mellow.gif:

Kaihawk, my pack started off as a 'Best of' compilation, but months and months beyond that it has evolved into a greater spin-off of Quandary, Coterie Craft, with which has a separate goal and attention. Coterie Craft only desires to bring Minecraft the look it deserves, and much of that has come from my edits based from ExtraNoise's work as well as Rhodox's seemingly unbeatable gui menus and lush foliage textures of Painterly (which I have edited as well). Many of my edits belong to the brilliance of my fellow contributors, to whom have provided me with splendid criticism... improving my pack as a whole.
I would also like to inform upon my relations with the Quandary Texture Pack. You see, I have given ExtraNoise my permission to use some of my work; which consists of the birch texture and all of the armor models that you know. (He should probably put my new chainmail armor model and sprites. :cool.gif: )
Currently, much of ExtraNoise's work is still visible. But no matter, in the future, I will find a way to improve as much content this pack has, as I am continuing to pour more originality with each update... such as the mobs I have been texturing recently.

And though this may not apply to you, I would like to remind everyone that a place(or server) is only as good as the people that live in it.
Oh, and by the way, what is the IP address of your server? Maybe someone on this thread would be interested to try it out. But not only that, I would also advise you to create a topic to get your server to go public (if you haven't already, I can't remember if you did).
So apparently, biomes are too confusing! As Minecraft Wiki hasn't really given me enough information on biomes for my liking.
Here is the suggested grasscolor.png made into a curved graph:
(The image below was made for myself to be used in-game (though I had to do it pixel by pixel as I didn't know how to flatten that curve in the graph for a proper grasscolor.png file).)
In actuality, the Desert is the Savannah (maybe a slice of Desert is within the very corner though). The Tundra is supposed to be near more within the Grass Desert area. The Swamp biome doesn't exist in the suggested area... but probably more within the seasonal forest. Forest is correct. The Taiga is correct, except its sometimes within a reach of the Tundra. Rainforest is correct, to a certain extent (it probably should stretch a little lower possibly, unless that is where the Swamp is located). The Shrubland is likely to be within the suggested Woods area. The Savannah is likely to be the Seasonal Forest (not too sure). I haven't really found a Plains biome other than the Savannah and Tundra, so maybe its in between the two.
And surprisingly, the city of Macropolis is built on top of the Savannah biome (not to be confused with the suggested Savannah).
Just wanted to point that out.
