Wait so everyone could download it???? Cause i realllllllyyyy want to :smile.gif: love this Texture pack its the TP that we use on our server :smile.gif:
The special version will not be what you expect. There will be many additions in this special version that I will try to catch your attention. Most, if not all, of the things you will see you would have never even guessed to see. It's almost like April Fools Day, except more random and is a birthday present to my friend anyway. Except, like birthday cake, you can all chose to participate. :smile.gif:
I'm sorry. I just can't really force myself to like this pack because it looks just like quandary pack. I just can't really take it seriously, I could just save myself the the trouble of download this pack AND quandary by JUST downloading quandary. I'm sorry i this sounds very harsh but you should try and make mor textures your own.

-Kaihawk
Kaihawk, my pack started off as a 'Best of' compilation, but months and months beyond that it has evolved into a greater spin-off of Quandary, Coterie Craft, with which has a separate goal and attention. Coterie Craft only desires to bring Minecraft the look it deserves, and much of that has come from my edits based from ExtraNoise's work as well as Rhodox's seemingly unbeatable gui menus and lush foliage textures of Painterly (which I have edited as well). Many of my edits belong to the brilliance of my fellow contributors, to whom have provided me with splendid criticism... improving my pack as a whole.
I would also like to inform upon my relations with the Quandary Texture Pack. You see, I have given ExtraNoise my permission to use some of my work; which consists of the birch texture and all of the armor models that you know. (He should probably put my new chainmail armor model and sprites. :cool.gif: )
Currently, much of ExtraNoise's work is still visible. But no matter, in the future, I will find a way to improve as much content this pack has, as I am continuing to pour more originality with each update... such as the mobs I have been texturing recently.
-Your friend,
Cpt. Corn :laugh.gif:
P.S.: You don't have to take sides. It's not like we have some sort of Quandary Loyalists vs Coterie Patriots or something. But besides that unnecessary point, enjoy Minecraft from any texture pack you please... that's all that matters.
P.S.S.: And thank you for spelling Quandary right, almost everyone misspells it.
I do not believe this pack will see a higher resolution. However, I have plans to make seasons corresponding into 4-6 different versions of the pack. After that, there are better odds that I might move on to making it a 32x32 (but where to start!), but most likely I will not go on to that high of a resolution.
My definite vote is "no" for 32. The only point of it to me would be is if it* was a solution for making a texture that just couldn't be 'translated' in 16x. But I see no evidence of that.
As for seasons... cool to see you thinking about seasons. Would be interesting if Minecraft will support some sort of season change.
i love this texture pack :smile.gif: but do you think you could change the look of both colored and white wool? the 1x1 solid color seems too simple to be with such an awesome pack :biggrin.gif:

I have noticed graphical problems amongst users who cannot see the detail of the textures. Thus, as the feel of wool is very detailed, for you, it looks simple. To fix this, I would have to give the textures more noise as consequence... or you could buy a better monitor. :tongue.gif:
I have looked at Minepedia long before you posted this, and unfortunately... my pack isn't on there! (still!)
How would I get it in Minepedia?
EDIT: If you take another look at the list, you can see Coterie Craft (but not Quandary, surprisingly). Whomever provided the description for my pack couldn't have said it any better.
"Once based off the Quandary Pack, now a unique package with the goal of becoming the new default."

I have noticed that the OP is a bit bland and lacks the attention that I seek. So I'll be working on creating a full scale diorama featuring the content of my pack... similar to the layout you see in this background. (at least that is the idea)
If you have any other ideas to make the OP more attractive, do not hesitate. However, I will not be copying the layout from Quandary or Jolicraft (as they have made their OP superb!), I wish to be unique.
This is my idea: (but in a way where I can show all my content, but has easy updatability when I release a new version. I would be able to add captions as well, and up close shots of mobs and armor models... nether content down below... version history below bedrock or shrunk as a spoiler to save space... You get the picture.)

I selected a wide zone with MCEdit, converted the Schematics into a Blender file with a special tool, imported the file in Blender, textured it using Coterie Craft, applied light and depth of field.
So are you implying that you are a dedicated Macropolis Member and that you're the creator of the picture?

ToitagL is VladvonDrack, the Macropolis server admin. I confirm to you, Master7432, that he made that image.

How were the shadows in this picture achieved?

We like it simple. More functional that way.
Also, just noticed your pack isn't here --> http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Texture_Packs <--
Up to you.

Curse PremiumI personally do not know how that was achieved. Ask ToitagL (VladvonDrack of Macropolis.fr).

Curse PremiumThere are seven genres of change that are available in the special version.
I wonder if anyone can find them all? :cool.gif:
Your welcome!
