It's quite hard to update when high school is added in the whole mix. But since I'm here now, I assure you that the update will come very soon. :biggrin.gif:
Hmm... Maybe he means to not heavily modify them? I mean, the slime could use better color (It's a bit depressing), and the spider could have blood on it's feet. You know, from eating mobs >:smile.gif:

I will change up the mobs so they look better in the eyes of everyone. For instance the Quandary leather sprite does not match the current skin of the cow. In another example, sheep have different wool colors, but their face remains as white wool; which makes little sense.
I don't think I would have the spiders feet with blood. I will keep it real, until I think of a way to make it better. Also, slimes are not in minecraft currently, so there is really no need for the moment.

(By the way, the update is ready. *Uploading...*)
Slimes ARE in the game, just really rare. Im just giving examples. I DO like your 1 paragraph though. Nice idea. I always questioned the white faced sheep, and I've confirmed (with Me as a reference) that the black sheep, are really ninja sheep.
Oh my god, a new name for the texture pack! Augh! Change!
And now I'm trying to find a complaint to help make things better....

Pooh.
Oh, and don't change any of the mobs, especially the bit about adding blood to the spiders. One of the biggest turn offs to me for the Painterly pack is the gore everywhere. It's nauseating.
I do love the idea of making item edits, though, like how you made the armor a bit better. Oh, speaking of armor:
Right now, Armor is basically wearing cardboard boxes with shoes. It's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the regular armor weapons, but it's still kinda boxy. Maybe improve the models a bit?
Like, for instance (you could have better ideas, so feel free to just do what you want) make leather armor a bit more crappy looking, like how wooden items look like they were made poorly; make iron armor more metallic and stiff, give gold a bit of a smoother, flashier texture since gold is a novelty item (give it pink frills and ballerina skirts!), and make diamond armor more hardened - sharper edges, a more plated look...the kind of stuff professional solders would wear.

The new name was approved by the people of this forum. "The Best of Quandary Texture Pack" was a long name to begin with.
The mobs will not go into any significant changes... as I said before...

No blood for spiders, of course.
The armor models could use some tuning up, that I agree with. But not so much that I sacrifice quality.
Your suggestions are appreciated. But don't get overworked about it (if that's the case). Come as you please, I never meant to be demanding...

Curse PremiumI will change up the animals. Similar to what I did with the creeper, they will keep their trademark faces.
No mob in this texture pack will lose their iconic expressions that bring such joy into the game.
However the squid, in exception... I don't think his face was that iconic... unless someone says otherwise.
