I am a Mac user. When I download the texture pack from Mediafire (the other download is broken, btw) it goes to my downloads folder but decompresses into an unusable folder that will not affect anything. I have seen tutorials and am 99% sure I installed the pack correctly every time I tried. (Basically what I did was download, copy all of the files, drag them into the texture packs section of the .minecraft folder, and open minecraft. Nothing happened.) Does anyone know how to fix this, or possibly how to correct an error on my part?

What? So you were putting all the files into the folder? Thats not right. If it gets decompressed, then it will always save the .zip file in the download folder as well, but if it doesn't, then you just right-click, and click 'compress' and it will compress it into a .zip. Make sure it has the same name as it was before, and I always just put the .zip and the folder into the texture pack folder. It should work.

I'm getting the same error on a mac. The file uncompresses when downloading or something. When re-compressed minecraft won't read it as a ingame texture pack.

The issue stems from Safari uncompressing the file as its downloaded. To solve the issue click on the preferences in the safari tab at the top of the screen. Under the general section, uncheck "play" safe files. This will stop safari from uncompressing the files, now just move the file over to the texture pack folder and it will work!

Did the video help at all? Or is it capable of helping Mac users?

Not really, what it showed was pretty basic and is the steps I take on my PC. If you put the actually texture pack zip into a second zip file it would get rid of the problem or if people follow my steps, either way it'll will work with a mac.

could u change the smooth stone to look less like the default please?
otherwise this is an amazing pack. Good work :biggrin.gif:
There are many approaches at which I can do so. However, the feel of the texture to make it look solid is challenging to develop. I'll keep it in my thoughts. :wink.gif:
Again, Cpt. Corn, you have risen past my expectations.
So, Did you make a break animation? I think it should be breaking at the edges, and then finally get to the center.
I have not made the breaking animation yet... :dry.gif:
However, if I get to it for v1.6 (which I have been working on for some time), then I would imagine the breaking animation would have the block crumble entirely, rather than come from the edges to the center... but we'll see, because I'm not too sure what would be best.
Cpt. Corn, I registered for the forums just now to tell you how much I love Coterie Craft. Seriously. I can't actually play Minecraft without it now.
I've tried other "novelty" texture packs, HD texture packs, etc., but they're just not "Minecraft-y" enough. Coterie Craft is simple, clean, and wonderful. Thanks :smile.gif:
