Usually in texture packs it is clay or glass that makes me say no to it. Here both are just the way i like them. Glass is clear and clay wount look like stone. And of course the over all look is just spot on.
If i have to complain about something it woud be the crosshair. :biggrin.gif:
Anyway awesome pack!
What would the contributor's section do specifically? Other than crediting people for their excellent service.
Nothing much really, it's main purpose is to identify the main givers of feedback, and also to try to make other people to give feedback too. See my idea is that if you have a contributors page/ section, then you may get more feedback. Like people may go and search for problems within the pack. That's the main idea behind it.
I'm really not sure about it... if I have a second on that notion than I will probably carry on with the idea and add the section. I was thinking about an open chat, like Steam, for instance. Or more preferred, the Macropolis.fr server to do all the talking.
However, if there is ever a pressing issue, I will announce it. As I have done in the past with the seasons... and people did respond.
The thing that I believe that is bringing people on this thread in terms of discussion is this very pact I have with my people:

If you think there should be any changes and or additions regarding this texture pack in order to provide better, if not, the best quality 16-bit textures and overall content, please comment. Your feedback is valuable to me and the development of this pack.
You are welcome to contribute in any size, shape or form. Do not fear that you will not be heard or fear that you might be judged and or discriminated, I will not ignore you or anyone on this thread and I happily accept criticism regarding the pack (criticism improves the pack in the long run, trust me).

Like, a smaller one or more compact?
I believe that a cursor that can exhibit precision and area would work. I'll do what I can. :wink.gif:
Guys, you do realize that this pack will not end until Notch stops updating minecraft or if cpt. corn leaves?
Well... I am a junior in High School... so I have until the end of my senior year until my childhood is up. Surely, if you all know, I have a life other than this texture pack. I have school work, friends, and I am a ninja with the hackysack (). I believe that Notch will have this game developed to the fullest by late 2012 or more (but who knows).
I'll tell you guys firsthand if the pack is to be discontinued, but I can assure you that will not happen for a long, long time. So don't you worry, alright? :biggrin.gif:
It's odd to see someone focus on on the menus over the the bulk of the environmental textures. And I kind of feel bad for the texture pack authors who's pack seemed to be dismissed because they used the default menus.
I'm okay with that rating in some respect, but its kinda disappointing though. I assume he wanted to see something other than default, and all I gave him was a taste of my main goal (which is to bring what I call the "new default"). Still, another Coterie Craft video is just what I wanted to see. :biggrin.gif:

There is a lot to a texture pack than just gui menus. Surely their could have been a brief look at most of the terrain as well as the items. But 5 texture packs in one short vid is quite the challenge. Though I believe he executed it pretty well compared to most, and there's always room for improvement, but detail takes up time.
Well... my menus were all Painterly anyway, the best gui menus in the community. (although I hope that one day that there will be a better one for the pack)
By the way, are you gonna come to the Macropolis.fr server, by any chance?
I poked around there last night. I was very impressed (and intimidated) by the work that has been done. I'm very much a SSP person, so I'm not too sure about SMP etiquette yet.

The server is very fast in performance and building is not an issue. I think my biggest problem with the server are the mobs, when zombies punch you from afar, but every server has that nowadays. I can tell you that creepers don't ruin your work or kill you, you rarily have to replace or break a block. Pretty much, the server is the best you can ever get in the Minecraft community, imho.

Curse PremiumHow did you know!?
Jeb: Notch!? What did the creeper say about the texture pack's download count?
Notch: It's OVER 9000!!!
Jeb: What 9000! There's no way that can be right!?

Curse Premium(Coterie Craft is announced at 5:14)
Now I know I must also work on the break animation. :tongue.gif:

Curse PremiumTexture Pack Rating: 6 out of 10.
Specialty: 3 out of 10
Solidness: 7 out of 10

Should I add it in the OP?

Curse PremiumGo for it! :biggrin.gif:
One word of advice, however: do not make it like simple craft. :tongue.gif:
If you can make it better than simple craft but still look like simple craft, then you can do it like simple craft.
