In the last month, you pretty much perfected everything about the pack, and I had no more major complaints about it (except cake, I still don't like it).
And then you retextured the mobs. I liked the chicken. I liked the sheep. I liked pretty much everything. But the creeper.... You had it perfect when you made it a darker green way back when, now it looks nasty and spongy and makes me sad.

Well I didn't change the sheep, and I'm pretty sure the chicken is perfect. :biggrin.gif:
But for the creeper... I did not feel perfection, nor was the pig. So I see what I must do.
Risugami just updated, the side-grass fix works now. Just slap on the terrain.png from page 25 over the Coterie Craft terrain.png. :biggrin.gif:
I like the pigs just how they are, their bodies seem a little too pink though, like bubble gum.
As for the creepers, yeah, they need to change. I preferred the old creepers, they were closer to the original
You got it!
And you know what else that I will add for this quick update. I actually forgot some particles so I will be adding those. (and maybe I'll texture them, including the cookie)
By the way, I will be adding some new banners very soon. They look pretty awesome, can't wait to show you guys. :biggrin.gif:
Captain, do you use Photoshop? There's a great, easy technique for smoothing out the original textures without losing the original feel and thought you might have some success applying it to the mobs.

Actually, I've used GIMP the whole time. When I'm texturing the mobs, I look at your knowledge and experience of your mob textures. Then, I either base my texture off of that or I try to fuse default and your mob together carefully, into one amazing iconic mob texture (for example: my chicken mob).
By the way, its nice to see you back on the thread. :smile.gif:
The lack of search has really put a damper on keeping up with my threads... Also I've been working on a from-scratch texture pack. Mostly to see if I can actually do it. (Also, I want to borrow your armor for it, if that's cool. (Also, also, I'd like to use your chicken as my "tamed chicken" if the Baby Animals mod gets updated))
If Gimp has a "high pass" filter, then I could try to explain it. But otherwise, I might take a run at the creeper this weekend. I have no idea if it would actually work.
Um... Also I just noticed that I was credited on the first post (thanks!) but I should point out that the mob spawner is actually edited from Painterly.

You may borrow as much content from my pack as you please, but only if you give credit and a link to this pack.
I do not believe GIMP has a high pass filter, but I will go into depth with what it might be called, if it exists.
And for your information, you should check out my originality log, it states exactly what was edited and what was not, including contributor textures. It's very complex yet simple, organized, and I believe that I might just make it in the Texture Pack Central Mod List because of it, so you should check it out. :wink.gif:
Okay, so I tried out Beta 1.4 in search for wolves and then I found a mysterious chest in the middle of nowhere. It looked like lots of fun by the looks of it, like a present.
But apparently, I had to purchase a key in order to open it. And that... really ticked me off...
Then there it was, Steve.Co, a parody of TF2's Mann Co. crates... you had to buy keys or even some other virtual merchandise. Surely enough, I saw a future where Minecraft had became something like Farmville, pretty much basing a technique from a game for the sole purpose of money, which makes addicted players feel tied to their game... as they had spruced it up with the green of dollar bills.

Holy crap! That's impressively thorough.
I'll, of course, give you credit and a link. That's a no-brainer. Right now I'm trying to decide how to or if I should credit myself for the cobblestone from Coterie and the mobs from Quandary.
I also have to decide how to credit people's work that I used as inspiration. The line is annoyingly blurry. And at this point, completely new takes on a texture are few and far between.

Well the way I credited you goes like this:
[OT(bonemouse)|(Kas)]
I'm sure you've seen this before, but take it into this account:
[<insert texture grade>(<insert foreign author/contributor credit>)|(<insert derived original author credit(if a contributor-based edit)>)]
However if you can isolate this nomenclature with respect to those who have inspired you, in a simplier way when needed, then you should be good.
You must also not worry about coincidentally using someone's texture structure when you had actually made it all on your own. Originality exists when you have not intended to use a foreign author's texture. (I hope that's what you wanted to know)

-Removed the [Add-ons] folder because Risugami's Grass Fix no longer works, until updated.

So I attempted to purchase an item, proceeding to the checkout only... then it engraved the meaning of this very day. :biggrin.gif:
