It has come to my attention that there might be some crediting issues corresponding to the textures I use and the textures I have made.
Many people say that I have used mostly Quandary textures, which is true, but I would like to focus that attention rather to how much originality I have applied in this pack.
That being said, I believe that there should be an "Originality Log" or somewhere along those lines to state what are the original textures, edited textures, contributors' textures, and unoriginal textures that are included in the pack. At the very most, it may be mentioned below the Development section. At the very least, it may as well be a readme.txt inside the texture pack. Either way, I basically want to record how much content is of my own design.
On another note, I feel as if I should have my own website, like Quandary and Painterly, to further extend the reach of the pack, knowing that google is on my side. As far as I know, my twin brother knows a little about creating websites, but not nearly enough to produce an extraordinary one. Any information regarding that topic would greatly be appreciated.
I know a bit of CSS and HTML, but getting a custom website URL uses a fee. Things like imaging, Layouts, and text are fine.

P.S.: What does Desu mean!?
Desu means "it is, or is" in japanese.
so O namae wa i_r_everyday_azn desu will mean my name is i_r_everyday_azn. (O meaning my, and namae meaning name)
I took Japanese as a language in Year 8, and that is one of the few things i remember so please cherish the knowledge like a baby, no more like a sheep.
Thanks. Your Japanese is appreciated. :biggrin.gif:
I've been learning Spanish for three years in school so far.
Quite recently, I have been learning French in Macropolis.fr (For example: 'bonne nuit'= good night, 're'=hello again) XD
Yes, but I used it to sound... er... cute. Look up desu and Rozen Maiden.
DESU is also a grammatical meme that used to get spammed

Yes, but then again, you can get a custom domain name for a price, even if you use free. Alts. are Godaddy.com and Domain.com, where as domain.com is having a sale for .net sites: ~8.99 US instead of ~10.

Now that there is not a bump kids, its a bwump. A bump with reason and thought.
Thanks for the help, by the way. :biggrin.gif:
Also, Master7432, I'm afraid that this pack is at the lowest possible place on the first page (if not, the second page) as far as the view count goes, the view count is not as strong as it used to be in the past. One of the major factors is the name change, but I believe that the name will earn strength and stability in the near future.
I suggest that I bring my own seasonal additions to the texture pack (at least 4 versions of the pack for each season, and at most, 12 monthly seasonal flavors), keeping the one we have today as the "developer's annual". The second thing I would do after that would mean modding support, with Coterie textures. And finally, the third and possibly the very last thing I would want to do in order to bring this pack to a higher standard would be to create a 32-bit or even a 64-bit version of the texture pack (but no further than 64-bit).
So, does anyone agree that I add seasons? If so, how many, 12 monthly seasonal flavors or 4 to 6 cleverly-developed seasonal flavors.
The seasons I intend to include would be, obviously,--Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Though if I am shooting for 6 seasons, then I would add a Dry Season and a Wet Season (for lushness). This would mean a total of 7 Coterie flavors: "Developer's Annual" (Practically season-less, the pack that we own currently) "Floral Spring" "Sunny Summer" "Gentle Autumn" "White Winter" "Dry and Barren" (Dry Season) "Lush and Moist" (Wet Season)
Each seasonal flavor will be amplified for a unique experience, but nothing too crazy like Painterly.
Also, there would be multiple downloads for these, or quite simply a download for the "Developer's Annual" and then a all-in-one packaged download.
v1.1_01 ---(3/22/2011)
-Corrected a concerning issue with v1.1:
>Terrain.png Grass fix for both downloads were still at compatibility of v4 of the Side Grass Fix, not v5, as it should have been.
I think adding season is a great idea! You should try to make it biome complaint too. Maybe change the foliage & grass color to add more than just one color.

Such as that in some regions of the "Floral Spring" version, you may find cherry blossoms, though rare. Every season will have their own take on the biomes.
On top of that, I want to change the entire environment in respect with the seasons. For example, the "Dry and Barren" version will have no clouds while the "Lush and Moist" version will have more clouds (even gray clouds) than normal.
If I use a texture pack will I still be able to play in browser or will I be forced to play on the launcher and crash every 10 minutes?
My best bet is that there will be no difference in performance between the default and this texture pack. However, if you are using an HD (32-bit and above) texture pack, it is likely that there will be some performance issues, which varies in noticeability depending on how your computer performs.
Macropolis'admin here. We realised that most of the viewers of our (using Coterie Craft) came from here, so we updated the video description with an english (shorter) version.
Cya on the server !
Thanks for the update! :biggrin.gif:
I can now see that the server will become popular at an international level. =D

Do you mean the main texture pack name or the name of the seasons?

Coterie Craft is the official and only name the pack will be referred to as of now and in the future. Since the name has been declared so recently, some still refer it to Quandary Reborn.
Essentially the addition of the seasons will not be like Quandary's 12 month-by-month transitional assortment, but an amplified, simplified, and cleverly-developed package of assorted flavors of the Coterie Craft texture pack.

Curse PremiumMaybe I can find a loop hole with the website creation, by legally not paying a fee, or free website creation or something like that. :wink.gif:
Really? Well I didn't know that, wow I guess, wow I've honestly have nothing to say about that.
To that my good sir, I bid you good luck.
Webs.com allows you to host websites, but leaves an extra www.x.webs.com, or x.webs.com.
Good luck!

Curse PremiumLooks nice, but the only thing that concerns me is this: http://www.webs.com/pricing.htm
But if that's all I got, then I guess that will do unless I have a better option.

Curse PremiumActually, each page consists of 50 topics, and thus we are in the top 50.
EDIT: Now we are back on the second page. :/ Top 100 (which isn't too shabby, but we can do better).
