No, despite many texture packs do that, I would not do so. If you think of the Minecraft art to be an icon, I would not mess with it. Such as that certain paintings would look completely different on a texture pack than intended on multiplayer servers.
And by the way, I'm quite bummed about the download count due to the name change. My download count slumped to about one-quarter of its speed. But hopefully it should go back up, in due time...

Well I certainly know that I'm keeping the name, but I do have an idea to bring my audience back.
You see, people need to transition... and by that means how about I title the topic "Quandary Reborn is now Coterie Craft (v1.0)[UPD 3/7/11]"
This way, its a win-win. =D (its a temporary title, of course)
That and I've seen companies do the same. Example: Cingular is now AT&T. (company merged, I think)
Agreed. Hmm... How about using the extra painting as a Easter egg? Multiplayer compatible, and it would just be some text like: "Easter egg found! Get sneak peak at next update!" or something. That way, No new paintings would be added, but the pack user would find a painting of LOLness.

AND! I mean, that there's 1 painting Notch forgot to add, so you get purple squares instead. Why not utilize that and make it an easter egg?

So here's what I might do. I can one: include it in a separate download with a coded url to simplify it, rather than the lengthy one I have now which takes up some space. (Example: Quandary Texture Pack). or two: include it for manual editing in the [Alternate] folder.
And now that I think about it, I can include an updated version of the original Quandary as a separate download/texture pack in the downloads section, partially because I feel bad that Quandary appears mute, and because I know many Quandary fans would appreciate it.
The OP now has an outstanding video displaying v1.8 of Quandary Reborn. Despite its a bit out-of-date, its the best video I have ever seen using my texture pack! (its in French, however.)
Besides that I'm going to include the brick-style sandstone as an alternate texture in the terrain.png, as I can see that people might want to build awesome sandstone structures, rather than caring about the natural perspective of it.
