Would anyone care for a contributors' section in the OP? It would consist of a list of those who have made any reasonable contribution to the pack.
It would be nice. I think people would strive to get on the list, though, by spamming feedback.
One of the many reasons why there should not be a list... To have the burden to organize an extensive list of people would take away from the pack.
May it be that every contributor who has given something to this pack earns a special place in this community, as you are my people, to have it known that this is part of something that is and will be great... and it is that you are a part of that greatness.

Great update and grats on the new name! The grass and sun are especially appealing.
The vignette though seems to shift stone towards a red/brown in the dark still. I liked the blue tint with sparse lighting alot better.
And on a sidenote: you could get in trouble by screwing around with the Mojanglogo if properly protected.
CandyCraft, 2nd place winner of the Webhallen Texture Pack contest, changed the Mojang Logo as well, so I am safe.
The vignette should go back to what you remember it, if not, I'll try to change the vignette for the better, but surely it will be different than what you have now.

Been sans computer as of late...(sort of). Monitor maintenance till I pick out a new one, so been out of the loop. And unable to do any critiquing of color or design since my cold cathodes have red-shifted :tongue.gif:.

I've always cringed a bit when people did this, BUT it's not an uncommon practice in several fields nor have I ever heard of a case of any company attacking changes made to their logo (stealing YES, modifying while still contributing sales to the parent company no)... and the way the Minecraft / independent community and mod friendlyinessity of this particular product I would say to be more concerned about being attacked by an mutant alligator with lightning breath.
PS if you ever DO get attacked by said alligator...I know none of you, and do not speak my name to it.

I have given credit to the content made from others, so forth I think I should have a credits section in OP, to avoid the possibility of a mutant alligator with lightning breath.

So, the only thing I can think of for the next update would be to amplify the biomes, better vignette, new banner, and to texture the cobblestone... animating fire can wait.

2. Sandstone, when used in building insanely massive walls, look fake up close. Honestly it looks like wallpaper. I don't know how to improve this so I will post when an idea comes up.

I can see some improvement with the diamond block...
Sandstone just needs a tune up, its layered texture is natural, the way it should be.
I'll see what I can do with the logo... smoother, lighter shadow perhaps.
However, most sandstone, such as this, show that the sandstone, is in fact, layered.
The logo had a sky blue complementing color, which I liked, but Cpt. Corn took the white one. Not offending him, but just saying.
