I say that you make a room, a conference room, in fact, with chairs and an expansive table, in order to represent the many "seats" involved in the works of this pack.
Or... take a picture of a guy using my diamond armor model, or iron if you have to.
It doesn't matter, unless you start getted mod warnings.

I tried the grass fix. Works fine, except have a warning about it being considered as a mod. Had to reinstall things to get it to work.
Have a F.A.Q. for common errors, and maybe a how-to.
Will do. An F.A.Q or How-to section may be necessary if I include more mods. Which reminds me, I should check out bonemouse's melee weapons-plus sprites... but that's not the priority of the moment I guess.

Search mossy cobblestone in Google, then look at pics. It's hilarious how it's filled with Minecraft stuff.
I've already got an idea for a conference room, this'll be epic if I can pull it off. But before I go nuts on anything, here's what I'd plan to do:
For the main screenshot of the topic (if you need one): A meeting room, with a table, some chairs, and carpeting. This might be hard to do, however, so I might instead make a small cottage as the main shot - a homely looking place to capture minecraft's feel., possibly with one or two TNT blocks sitting in front of it.
For the pack.png: An angled image of a chest, a workbench, a furnace, and a stack of dropped wood blocks on the ground next to it (the inventory item stack, not a literal block)
Also, I like the smoother cobblestone in that picture - the depth is very nice. If you could get it to look right in that way, I'd be very happy.

I have a terrible internet connection, so I couldn't download those for like forever, but I finally could now, and...
Not bad. There weren't a whole lot of ones that took your breath away, but those nether ones definitely should be on the front page.
