I mean, if you want to put it in sure, but it's optional.
Oh, and BTW, I'm stuffed w/ educational stuff, so I'll respond less.
Eh... I might, I may not... I really don't know.
Good luck with the educational stuff! I feel ya man, I rarely have enough time to work on my texture pack on school days, which is a shame... sometimes I feel like I comment here more than working on the texture pack on those days, when I really should be doing my edumacation stuffs. But then it is also important because I gather info for what I can accomplish on the weekends. And boy, do I got some news. This weekend its a four-day weekend starting on Friday, then another four-day weekend after that, so I will be able to roll out some pretty sweet updates! XD
Quite possibly, I might produce a video of my pack once it reaches 2.0 or so... Although I wish someone could make a fan-made video in tribute to this pack, and that would definitely be appreciated! :biggrin.gif:

How about changing original very-pixelated paintings into something nice & better ? Some more landscapes or maybe few custom sets so user can choose themselves

That would be an excellent idea. However, the majority of people who use default will see a different painting than what you have, but I'm not quite sure myself about changing it in the long run.
Yeah, that looks rather nice. Maybe just a hair lighter, though (just a tiny bit).
What I meant by the water's brightness is (uh...) this:
The water is semi-transparent, right? So you can think of it as stained glass, almost. When you look through water now, anything behind it appears darker, right? Yeah. (these diagrams are on a horizontal plane)
(area wher things appear darker)
Right now, you can only see through around four or five blocks of water before the dark color of the water obscures everything and makes it impossible to see.
(you can't see past this point due to the murky color of water)
What I'd like to see was something like this, where the shade of the water doesn't interfere with vision nearly as much. (vision a bit obscured) (you can't see past this point)
^Make sense?
Also, making paintings more clear would be nice - they could be the same as before, just with the image possible to see.

I understand your point exactly. But before I do so I am going to research when light becomes unseeable in depths like this, for good, realistic measure.
Paintings will be on hold, if I am to work on them.
And I think it would be really cool to animate the water so that it looks like waves. :biggrin.gif:
Could you design the default mobs of minecraft to look something that would resemble default, but entirely better. Keeping the expression (eyes, mouth, face gesture) of every mob that has been so iconic to Minecraft fans. For example, which I would prefer the first to be accomplished, make the skeleton more like the beige color, like the one you can see in my bone sprite.
And best of luck to pass the Axapez standard! :biggrin.gif:
On the standardized Axapez rating scale on texture packs (trademark), I give you an eight out of ten. The area around the mouth is still a bit weird (the mouth is also still kinda off, but not by much), but other than that, it's bad at all.
Of course, I pretty much hate every edit to mobs (the faces always get messed up horribly *cough*painterly*cough*), so I doubt I'll ever be satisfied.

The Axapez Rating Scale (TM)... To pass the Axapez Standard, one must score a ten or better out of ten.
Along with the approval of the Wildgrass support, any comment about the Better Light and or Better Grass?
I know many of you have seen polls before, many of which vote on what is the "best minecraft texture pack?" which is truly a popularity contest... But, I was surprised that my texture pack actually made it on the list on this particular poll as posted by Farcrusader, Forum/Wiki Sponsor. (which is a first.)
Anyway, I haven't seen much of what betterlight and bettergrass does - bettergrass is the system where the sides of blocks get covered in grass if it's a one block drop, right? I don't know what betterlight does.
Edit: Yeesh, considering how radically different Eld's pack is from the standard game, I surprised it's doing so well.
I'm sort of lukewarm on BetterGrass. BetterLight however is a must have mod for me now. Unfortunately the latest iteration of the mod is bugged and basically requires BetterGrass.
I'd recommend giving the mod a shot. Some people have noticed a performance hit (I haven't on any of my machines) and others have had issues getting the patcher to run at all. But in general, it's a pretty easy installation, especially on PCs
The good thing about the mod is that it's not texture pack dependent, so you don't really need to support it.

Curse Premium9001th comment... that's OVER 9000!
In fact, the clouds actually had an effect, but its very hard to notice... not worth the change, I guess.

Curse PremiumSure thing!
By the way, bonemouse, what do you think about Wildgrass support? Would that be a great addition to the pack?
I'm not sure what you decided to do about the Ghasts. But I was hit by some inspiration and decided to take a crack at some of Axapez's suggestions.
