Sorry I've haven't posted in awhile, but I have stories to tell
-[Story Snip-]
Anyways, I wanted to say a few things. In the items.png, why is there lapris lulzi (that's how I spell it (Haters gonna hate)) in a random place? Is it used as a reference?
Moar suggestions:
Strings should be without the black outline
Switch the Sugar and Bone Meal. Or modify the Bone Meal. I get it confused with sugar
Bricks (item) could have circular holes
Make the Quick Inventory so it matches with the inventory
Have the other mobs compatible with the realisticness of the Ghast
DON'T:
Have fur on the sheep. It's head is 1 Texture.

Aw man, your right! I was so anxious to release these sprites that I forgot to clean up my workplace.
(but I would rather reupload with redone wooden planks or something.)
Moar suggestions you say! Let's break it down a bit:
-Strings, without black outline, not so much a cream look as well.
-Do you want natural sugar? Because that is what I have. And bone meal will have a coarser texture to settle the difference, I hope.
-What do you mean by the brick sprite having circular holes?
-By Quick inventory, do you mean the personal inventory? Which inventory?
(sorry I could not comprehend...)
-The realisticness of the mobs were all in part of the courtesy of bonemouse. Bonemouse made the ghast and squid mobs that you see in my pack. However, even if he has made all the mobs for the original Quandary, I could not tolerate the entirely altered face expressions that he has textured in the faces of the farm animals and enemy mobs that we know and love! So I will take on the task of keeping their face expressions, unless bonemouse can accomplish this. If he does, then he will be the best mob maker you have seen in the commmunity! (In my book that is.)
And I assume you do not want the sheep changed, right?
By the way, I'm very glad to see you back master7432!
v1.5
-Redone (possibly perfected) wooden planks texture, along with crafting bench.
-Fixed lava
-Redone string. (It's white)
That's all I could do for the remainder of the weekend. So enjoy! :biggrin.gif:
I'm hoping I got the wooden planks just right...
And about the sugar and bone meal, consider that bone meal is beige and can't go anywhere outside of that because that is what nature depicts it. So sugar is the only sprite texture that can be edited to fix the problem. But as it seems to me, sugar is a natural brown and that in itself is what home-made sugar looks like, not manufactured white granulated sugar everyone knows about. Therefore, we can either understand what real sugar looks like or turn to what is man-made and processed, yet recognizable. Brownish sugar vs beige bone meal, I can't really make that any more separate then what it is now.
But if you got any better ideas, your more than welcome to speak up.
how about changing the position of ink sack so it does not resemble the coal so much, I mean put it more horizontally <->
(and maybe some orange-ish bits of color like on the picture you posted)

I'm not sure how to fix the bone meal problem - I feel like giving it bigger 'chunks' (larger grains of the powder) would help, for a start - make it more like fertilizer.
So, if you're using the ghast texture bonemouse originally showed off...ew. That thing looks really messed up, and not in a good way. Are you using this one?
I hate that one - ghasts look angelic before they open their eyes. This one looks just weird. Do I see a five o'clock shadow?

Well... This is what I have right now, and its quite distinguishable from coal.

Yes... I am using his ghast. (also his squid.)
Would you like something resembling default? Or change up the ghast's facial expression...
What did you think about the wooden planks texture, better than before? (anyone can answer this, really)

You do realize that I follow this thread, right?
Anyways, since you're stuck on the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who theory before the Ghasts were actually revealed to be giant, floating, fire-breathing jellyfish, I have made an alternative texture just for you:
^ I didn't. I would have told you in your thread that it looked off, but the thread that I got that from died like four months ago. Sorry for being so blunt, here's what I didn't like:
I feel like the eyes and mouth are too narrow when open, not to mention the eyes look like fire - they're supposed to be red, yeah, but that looks like they have embers for eyes, and it's a bit too creepy - even for the nether. Also the shaded lines on them are a bit too apparent (there's also too many lines). Making the whole thing a bit more subtle would be great.
Also, to capt. corn, I haven't played minecraft with the newest version yet, but I'll report back on wood when I get the chance.

Sorry, It was a work in progress, and I forgot to finish the list XD
String = Correct
Sugar = Just fix the Bone Meal in future updates. It's making me think there's the old sugar texture in the game.
Brick =
Inv. = The inventory at the bottom of the screen, under your health and shielding. It's color doesn't equal the larger inventory
Mobs = Well, yeah. I just hope that all of the mobs gets updated before I have a realisticness collision
Sheep= You can't change the texture of the fur to make it black with black, yellow with yellow, etc. You can remove the fur on the head completely, however
Suggestions:
Plan for underwater mobs (Link here)
Sandstone could have a faint brick textures on all sides but the top, where it is loose sand, and that loose sand is dripping into the side blocks. The faint outlines should be only visible at close range
Use this cloud texture. It make's dark, grey, and dark grey clouds (By me XD) Download Here //www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=34dw39h102f6d1o&thumb=5" target="" data-ensure-absolute>" width="" height="" alt="" />
BTW, I'm unsure if the cloud coloring works...yet.

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. And sorry for getting all huffy. I really don't mind people criticizing my work (and I do find critiques helpful.) Or even just plain disliking it. But sometimes the language people use in this community is harsh and it can get to you.
I'll keep your ideas in mind if I ever get around to doing another big revision.
However, I feel there's definitely room for someone to "just" clean-up and refine Notch's original textures, as has been brought up several times. And I'm hoping someone will step up and take on that challenge.

Curse PremiumThe bone meal was the same as it was in v1.3
but sure I'll change that up, same with the planks.
I got natural sugar, that's not white. How should bone meal be made? Really coarse?
