I know technic/tekkit support is listed under "acknowledged", but are you actively working on it? If not I would like to start working on it (with permission from you) as coterie craft deserves to support all the things.
Nope. Working on the actual pack first-hand, then mods later. You can help me out on these mods if you want, I don't see why not. ;P
hey cpt.corn.
i have used coterie craft for over a year now.
but the since the latest update i really dislike the water and cobble stone.
i preferred the old one MUCH more.
sincerly a big fan
PS. the rest of the pack is still totally awsome
Darn, I was hopin' the new cobble would finally fit everyone's interests... and water hasn't changed, has it? Regarding the cobble, could you or anyone reading this suggest a compromise between the new cobble and the old, weathered cobble?
And I hope you like the bundle of updates I've been doing. xD

Hey Cpt. Corn,
Just launched another new server with your texture pack, called AKA|Minecraft MiniGames.
Check out the post. I have taken more screenshots. Let me know if you find anything that you want a shot of and I'll get it for you or you can come on and take the photo yourself.
KSO, the new snapshot is a real buttpain for texture packs, and im working hard to convert the textures, but there are technicalities that i cant quit figure out hwo to fix, for example my redstone is gray and when it breaks the particals are wierd, a couple things like that, water corection and thing like that ill try to get a fully functional one out by probadly tomorrow
Thanks for formatting it to the snapshots. The only problem I noticed was that the compass and clock have improper textures. Everything else looks fine to me.
well the old one was perfectly fine with me.
but make it so it really blends in well with the stone blocks.
I play on a big roleplay server and to have or buildings from the best quality possible we mix up all the stones to get nice patterns.
but right now the cobbel just doesnt look right wich kinda breaks the whole style.
you could also come on or server to take a few screenshots. we have some awsome buildings and the texture pack looks great on them.
Following my latest update, I have fixed the cobble back to its old favorite, so I hope everything goes back to normal. ;P The only thing I should do next with the cobble would be to improve its poorly-textured mossy cousin.
And I'd be glad if I could harvest some good screenshots to showcase, so I might check out the server sooner or later.
Hey Cpt. Corn, happy to see you're back (or at least actively posting) again! Now I do see that a lot of people do not care for the cobblestone, for me its kind of a meh, it feels more like a test than a finished version. However, if you are moving away from the original cobblestone into a more random, natural, feeling, its definitely a step in the right direction. I can't really explain how to change it, however. You could possibly try and make it where each rock thing in it is separated more and are larger, pretty much making there less. Anyways, good job and wilftest definitely deserves a lot of credit for keeping the texture pack up-to-date and taking time from his life to keep it to our liking!
Yup, and the test is finished... back to the old cobble! I was going to give the newer cobble the color scheme resemblant of the older cobble, but I figured I'd reason with the iconic power of the older cobble instead. More people miss the old cobble than they like the newer cobble.
Wilftest (and Ganlolde of PMC) have done a wonderful job of making sure the pack could continue properly. They remind me of my younger self, and so I would hope that they can aspire to be better texture artists in the future.
Honestly, I can't believe it. This forum started 3 years ago. I would like to apologize for forgetting this. Having lost my addiction in Minecraft also made me forget about this forum. But I would like to give remarks.
I remember stumbing upon this thread, trying to find an updated version of Quandary.
I remember being supportive of this author, whom openly asked for criticism, and humbly accepted all.
I remember Best of Quandary, where I gave the idea of changing it to Quandary Reborn.
I remember having the most fun with helping this pack grow, coming from school everyday to check for new posts, being sad when it faded, only to return to happiness when this grew.
I watched it become Coterie Craft.
I watched it become more and more popular, with a server sponsoring it, named Macropolis.fr, whose site is now gone.
And those times I check in, I see how wonderfully it grew. Every time I come here I keep having fond memories of it.
But I eventually stopped.
I wasn't there to plant the seed, but I always like to think I, along with many other contributors who have certainly helped this more than me, helped this pack grow from a sprout to a sapling. And then others took care of the rest. And they treated this well.
So thank you. I feel like this pack has certainly created new memories for me. It certainly showed what a group of people are willing to do; what a coterie really is.
Although this isn't my last post here (I'm not dying! >.<), I'm not sure when I will post again. Hopefully soon.
For now, however, what I'm trying to say is "Thanks." Thanks for the great memories, Cpt. Corn.
And thank you to everyone else as well. Thank you for taking my hopes of this and spreading it.
You are very welcome Master7432! I remember you as my old wingman, but no worries since your disappearance. I, too, have disappeared for a very long time, until quite recently (approx. 18 days ago).
Apparently, I have been dramatically inspired to create a new texture pack, thanks to the ingenious arcade game and/or "rogue-like platformer" Spelunky!
So far, I've searched and I haven't found a decent or up-to-date replication of Spelunky for Minecraft, which has compelled me to make my own just for fun. Completing the pack seems foreseeable, since the theme is fairly easy to "rip" from the game itself and, in other situations, easy to replicate due to its unique, yet simplistic style of pixel art.
I've just covered the basics from what textures I was able to find, and there's surely more to come if you guys like the idea of this project.
Spelunky: Minecraft Edition
I personally think it'd be great for adventure/parkour map makers. ;D

Thanks again for the best texture pack in minecraft. (That extends to all those that port and support the texture pack)

Curse PremiumThank you very much for the heads up! This certainly has saved me a bundle of time.
for me, the unstitcher turns the new files into enreadable files
I did notice the wool looked strange too. but that bothers me less.
In any case it's still my favorite TP

Curse PremiumYea, I'm even having trouble trying to get used to it. I suppose that's the next thing that I must do, now that I can take a break from the GUI menus.
Any suggestions to improve the cobblestone or to at least convey what it should look like?
I hope you like the video! I think it looks pretty good!
