however, why is my grass black on ground but green in my inventory?
Hmm... maybe I didn't discover all the biomes, since I'm using this file here as my grasscolor.png: (except the white dots are filled in with green hues, of course)
I'll change it back to the default one for now... so that we may avoid this problem from happening again. But if you could, could you please send me the world that you found this problem on, so that I may be able to find the pixel responsible for the black color that you saw.
In the meanwhile, you can use the Alternate Download featured below this comment, with which has fixed your black grass problem.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. The old wooden planks were so clean. And now... So I need to use a customized version from now :S
I have placed an Alternate Download within the hosting site to patch up this problem as I await the results in a poll that I have just organized recently. I certainly hope this is the best way to respond to the matter, rather than making it official and quite possibly disappointing those who like the new planks.

I'm normally a great fan of your work, but I have to say I am very annoyed with the lack of 1.2.4 updates in v2.51. In my opinion you just copy-pasted and slightly edited Plethora work, which I did in a quarter of the time it took you. You still haven't updated the redstone lamps from 1.2, which I edited one of your Plethora ones and contributed it to the forums, you didn't acknowledge it. You actually still have some textures from Beta1.8 and Beta1.9 to sort out, when will we see them? I understand you have a life, but does it really take this long to update?
Your avid and annoyed fan,
Wilftest.
I couldn't agree more with your disappoint. Aside from the paintings, menu buttons, mojang logo, moon and sun textures, and lapis lazuli, I really haven't done much. I, too, am annoyed from my lack of updates. I poorly budget my time and jump from project to project, rather than focusing on the priority... With regard to the wooden planks, it really shouldn't have taken as long as it did. But, of course, the reason why it took so long was because of the testing I utilized... the texture had to retain a similar, if not, improved feel of wood while incorporating a new style that would texture properly along the wood fencing--something that the Plethora texture failed to do efficiently. But in the end, all I ever did was meticulously stitch together the texture... and I feel to blame for overthinking the whole matter.
And in actuality, I don't just have Beta 1.8/1.9 textures to work on, there still are the Beta 1.2 textures like the bed, cake, and redstone repeaters... they all must be redone!
I apologize for my lack of an appreciative work effort. But, if anything, I appreciate your criticisms, for they represent what is Coterie--contributions by the people via constructive criticism! The more constructive criticism, the better... sometimes I enjoy seeing it more than praise.
New cobble. NEW COBBLE. I want it like the original, but coterie-ized
Pretty wooden planks that fit in.
TEXTURE YO STUFFS
That is it...
I worked on cobble weeks ago... made it from scratch, but gave it up for other efforts. Now, I just worked on the texture today and it's looking pretty decent. So there you go, NEW COBBLE! However... I'm probably gonna have to remake it again, since it doesn't beat default's representation, in my honest opinion. x.x
Default:
Well, I guess I need to make another cobble texture... so I'll reserve this one as an alternate texture. That is, if you don't mind. What I could do is refine the default cobblestone entirely, rather than goin' scratch... but it's really up to you.
Then I saw how the new planks were doin' compared to the old, and I was quite surprised that they looked so good... but then again, that's how I feel... Not sure about everyone else.
And then the old:
Then again, I do have my doubts... and I'm almost leanin' towards the old style.
Oh, and there's one more thing I must add... I believe that I should make a more realistic representation of the birch and pine wood plank colors... there's no need for white and red when you got wool and bricks to do the job. That, and they don't look so good when making houses... just doesn't feel right, compared to the oak and jungle wood planks that look good...
The problem I have with the new wood textures is that they look kinda like nether brick. And they look like brick in general. Maybe if you decrease the bevel/emboss, it'll look better.
You have mixed (switched) the dark wood with red wood from jungle trees.
I confirdmed with default texture pack.
Even if that is the case, I do not believe default provided a realistic interpretation as to how wooden planks are crafted. Pine wood should not yield dark planks, nor should jungle trees yield red wooden planks On top of that justification, I find that the red and white wooden planks don't look all that great for building... so I'm also considering a completely different representation.

I'll do my best. My greatest worry is that the texture will look "flat," as I am aiming for a wooden plank texture that has just enough illusion of depth that doesn't over exceed that of what is seen in bricks and stone slabs.
Oh, on a side note, expect improved redstone-oriented textures for the following update. I managed to give redstone dust some depth - sure wasn't easy.
Really? My lamps are completely blue as well as the wooden planks from the white wood tree (not wooden planks from the regular tree... very weird). Can you think of anything that might make only two textures out of all of them not show up? It looks rediculous by the way
Edit: Nevermind this new update made lamps look like lamps instead of glowing lapiz. So no problems

There must be a compromise!
This only happened on the SkyBlock world
