this is by far my favorite 16x16 texture pack, but i prefer 32x... should i be suspecting a 32x pack in the future? because i would absolutely adore it!!!!
Well, If you read the OP he says that he won't be able to work on the pack until after Nov :tongue.gif:
Suggestions flow through, Stuff is not getting textured, etc.
Don't worry, Only 4 moar days of Nov...
Change is coming, my friend. Everything will change. It could be in 4 days, or it could be longer than that. I thank everyone for their patience, as change is coming...

"Most" is simply not good enough... There is so much more to do that needs to be done, so much that needs to come, and I know how eager you guys are in getting an update--but I can't supply, not at this rate. :/ Maybe you guys can help me in the meanwhile... I cannot do it alone, but in the sense that you are helping me through your words of inspiration and constructive criticism that I've always been blessed to hear.
Unlike the injustices of Facebook and YouTube involving the changes to their setup, I want you guys to assure me of your support with what ideas I have currently before I induce changes to the structure of the Coterie name, as well as acknowledging the progress that has been made during my absence.
First of all, and most recently, we are looking forward to making a new release in the Coterie name... as it has been remixed and remixed to the point of absurdity, but I want it to be in clean hands this time; with the knowledge of what his legacy has brought to my attentiveness as to how things "should be," the same way Quandary has done for Coterie. We are proud to bring to your attention of NewDoku, kept away from release until it is complete, assuming that it would be a nice addition for you guys to enjoy... unfortunately, a WIP of NewDoku is not to be expected, in actuality. Unlike Coterie Craft's New Default, the style is less vague and "easier" to accomplish, so we want to release a complete version rather than going through the hassle of updating continuously.
Based on the idea of NewDoku, what's going on in Coterie? Well... I'm getting controversial about the whole setup involving Coterie Craft. The notion of bringing NewDoku into effect means that Coterie Craft is branching into subsidiaries (like a brand name). So what do I call Coterie Craft as a pack, the texture pack that you have known for a very long time? I would imagine that it'd be called Coterie Craft: New Default and then there would be Coterie Craft: NewDoku. And from there... there could be more themes in the Coterie name, but... what gets me is not so much changing the name, its the fact that my dedication to a New Default will have to be organized at the best possible manner, as I still want to make seasons and develop modding support. From this hopefully accomplishable future, we might see multiple products branching into more themes, all linked and updated to and from PMC, making it easier to monitor individually.
Onto the real setup, I've been thinking of taking the meaning and girth of Coterie Craft and dividing them into significant portions. Three main branches--The Coterie, The Craft, and The Customizer.
The Coterie's main purpose is to give my contributors and sponsors a better sense of unity in the Coterie name, by making recommendations to those who deserve the spotlight, may they be popular or not, whether or not they use this pack, to a certain extent. Certainly, I won't hold any tyranny or pity when it comes to advertising certain people and media that deserves to be honored and/or sponsored. Essentially, the Coterie is the silver-lined sunlight for this flower I call of a pack. You may be wondering about the meaning of the term, "silver-lined sunlight," so let me explain briefly on this concept. Sunlight is widespread and shared among everything that it comes in contact to, meaning that the sunlight for this pack is noticeable and it is everywhere... but like a dark cloud, there is a silver line somewhere, and that silver line in the sunlight, nearly invisible and very small, aiming straight into the heart of Coterie Craft, is what defines the Coterie; whomever is represented in the Coterie should not think of it like a hall of fame, but a house of admiration.
As for The Craft and The Customizer, they are the two forms of consumable means in the Coterie Craft name. The Craft is the neatly packaged textures that can be downloaded in little or no time. The Customizer, which I call Plethora since that is what it is! The Plethora is an organized, chaotic make-it-your-self ice cream sundae from the coldest of Cold Stone's with or without the exception of sprinkles (aka modding support)! Okay, maybe its not exactly that... Plethora: The Coterie Craft Customizer, is an overabundance of textures and color tones that attempts to bring as much variety as it can, except with Coterie polish. Updates regarding The Craft will be kept through PMC, Plethora updates, on the other hand, is still a matter I am thinking about... but nothing to worry about.
So... other than that there are the things in my life that may influence this pack, for better or for worse. I am in a relationship with a young woman I care about very deeply, a selfless love. Now "love" is a definition that we both have trouble defining, its different for everyone, and for the longest time... love is what ruined her, but I strive for change, giving her all the time and care in hopes that she will recover from her struggles in life, one step at a time, and embracing the wonderful person that I've always known her to be; all the hardships and heartaches I have ever gone through and learned from all contribute to her now, I'm so blessed to have her. She is a pegasister/brony, shares astonishing commonalities with me, and most significantly, she is quite the artist! She is the source of my inspiration... she provokes me, even if she is unaware of it, to sing again, to create, and to formulate concepts that I've never come up before... she means a lot to me. So much so, the only problem for you guys is that we spend so much time together, as much as possible, so this may as well diminish the time I have for the pack, but know that my motivation and inspiration is greater!
Anyways, I hope all my words make up for the time of my absence and I hope to get back on track with my work. If you have any comments that you would like to share with me regarding any or all that I have said, don't hesitate, because I appreciate everything and anything that you got to say! :laugh.gif:
Oh, and just because I hate the taste of my old banner, here's a little of my work, my official title screen/logo:
Ugh, y'know what I dislike... homework! My goodness, the world better not end in 2012 or else school would be a complete waste of time, a wasted prelude of a future! >:3
(oh, and maybe Minecraft too... meh... at least its a more enjoyable waste of time, which makes it feel like I'm not wasting anytime at all, 'tis quite the opposite! Until, of course, the world doesn't end. :tongue.gif: )
But its sure better to be safe than sorry, I'll admit. xD
Night night everyone, even if it is the morning. @[email protected] Homework comes before the pack... so development may have to wait, AGAIN!!?! (good thing Winter break is a mere two weeks away)

Crap, I don't know what to snip in this thing... So I'll just leave it like that.
I shall be starting to add support as of 12/5/11, hopefully, as we need to update this pack. I believe I also made a Emergency Update in the past, which had compatibility for 1.0 (Full, not partial), so we might have to use that.
Your idea of sub-groups are excellent. With the intention and desire of it, you may create even greater things...
If you had the time.
Now, make sure that, even if you don't have time, many others do. If necessary, you could transfer/copy your work to someone else, have them work on it, and them send it back. We can then create mini-updates, similar to the weekly nightly builds. This is COTERIE Craft, after all. If anything, we could also call this Coterie Craft: Revelation for the major 1.0 update, as well as huge amounts of texturing.
Once you get the main update done, then you should work on the Customizer, but you already know that.
With life, there are things of which no one can surpass. When you're in love, the only way to keep going is to embrace it. There's no way of stopping it. Go ahead, do what you must, and leave us with a structure we can work on, until you get back.
I also suggest that we create an account for Collab versions, maybe CoterieCraft as a username. You could also give the password out to those you trust and is willing to help.
Cpt.! its me again! i didn't know you were a brony! This makes you 100000000000% times cooler to me... I'm a brony myself, so all you haters out there, IM GONNA LOVE & TOLERATE THE HECK OUT OF YA!
Btw, good choice of fav pony, Vinyl is pretty awesome. I myself like derpy hooves though.
EDIT: ive been learning pixel art, have been playing since indev, and would be happy to join the coterie team! Just tell me if you need a partner! :wink.gif:
I used to be stupid, go away. This account is invalid, go away. I was like 9 when i was into this sort of stuff, go away. COD is an abomination, go away. Become ignorant of this account, go away.
Actually, I've already thought of that concept regarding COTERIE Craft, but I am not so sure of how much participation will come into play. I'd create a new account called "The Coterie," and allow them to collaborate to the pack. Unfortunately, I have not seen many talented texture artists who are willing to add themselves to the Coterie name. Participation is a factor, and so is competence. But, here's what I can do... I can make it a project in itself, and see just how far The Coterie [project] can go. If it fails, then I have the right to discontinue it... If anything, I could call this idea Project: Amalgam.
The Coterie = Core developers and contributors; resulting in The Craft--main product and subsidiaries.
The Plethora = Work credited from 'big' texture artists corresponding with the ideas and requests of commoners; polished, refined, overabundance of texture selections, without any tolerance for completely unoriginal work. Hence, this is the New Painterly, but don't expect that it will get to that point anytime soon.
Project: Amalgam = Mixed, unrestricted collaborations featured in a separate thread, aided by The Coterie; featuring in a list of Coterie Craft compilations, allowing their spin-offs to be noticed to some degree, as long as they give proper credits to the work they used, if any, including my own. Then, if they wanted to, they could collaborate on making something greater in the name of Coterie, for Coterie.

Curse PremiumChange is coming, my friend. Everything will change. It could be in 4 days, or it could be longer than that. I thank everyone for their patience, as change is coming...
Coming soon... but when?
I did, but my testing failed, ergo I let Cpt. Corn fix it.
Err... if anything, the 32x32 is just a larger version of this... so it would more or less be a waste of space, unless you just want to show off.
BRACE YOURSELF!
THE EPICNESS IS COMING!
+1 for whomever gets the reference.
Wtf? Please go into detail.
Facebook-ed
Side note: just noticed that since cow butts have been fixed, it broke this pack's.
don't worry. Most of it's compatible with 1.0
