This looks really solid and I'll be checking it out more in depth tonight when I get home as I've decided the Texture Rotator Quandary suggests apparently hates me and made me my everything at least three times last night. Except that I somehow managed to not lose my saves. *Shrug* Which was really exciting a few minutes ago when I realized it.
Yay for breaking Minecraft!
Oh, and I just noticed your name is Capt. Corn. I'm CornflakeJustice, are you my long lost father?

I'm about to update real soon... so test out v2.9 when its out.
CornflakeJustice, you are not my son, but if you remember... We were on the same regiment in those forgotten times of war.

OH CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN! *salutes*
Well I know what I'll be playing with tonight! Fortunately the girlfriend is not over tonight and I haven't gotten LBP2 yet so I can actually brain bust my way through fixing Minecraft again without getting wined at for not paying attention to her!
v3.0 is going to come out sometime this week or so, but it has to be a legit update because I'm making a youtube video shortly after its release (as I have done before).
So, my good people, what would you like changed if there is anything that you dislike about this pack?
If I didn't fulfill your recommendation, then please refresh my memory if that becomes the case.
One thing I'd like changed - make creepers a different shade of green - they don't match the rest of the texture pack. Maybe a color kind of like the zombie's, except easily discernible from zombies.
Oh - and I might have already requested this, but I think I changed my mind about the request - could you make obsidian a little more....melty looking? Real obsidian looks like it's almost waxy and half melted, not like what every other texture pack has right now. It bugs me. I don't know how you'd be able to do that, though...maybe give it a similar look to a nether portal (kind of liquidy)?

Oh, and the new torches are awesome.
The creepers... :SSSS:.... Sure, I will do what I can. And as for the obsidian, that must be changed.
I for one, feel like the pumpkins could be more like a jack-o-lantern and less like a pumpkin oozing glowing butter.
Ooh! Ooooooo! I just thought of an awesome display for the tool blocks (furnaces, etc.)! What if, instead of a wood panel or whatever, there was a monochrome image of that block? You'd have an image of a chest, furnace, etc, all from some sort of angle. It might be hard to get everything clearly visible, though...
Edit: I just realized that with the broad variety of colors you get from all the items, this'd be pretty much impossible to make right. Maybe make them what the intereior of the item would look like?
The creeper looks perfect, just like the organic exploding mold pile it should be. It almost looks like it could sink into the grass at any time.
Obsidian..I like it. Considering that you're trying to make a perfect cube look waxy, it couldn't look any better.
Oh, and while I'm making requests...I remember loving the look of the wood planks from brown and bloom. It wasn't the bright tan look or that they looked like golden bricks or anything, I just really like the clean look to them. They looked so polished and processed. Maybe something like that, just with the same color scheme we have now?

You got it.
At the same time I will make this texture compliant with fencing and stairs... now that I thought of such.
If you got any more recommendations. Keep them coming! :biggrin.gif:
(jeez man, I almost feel like I'm paying you for this. Do this, do that!)
I just thought of something really useful: Why not make a distinction between charcoal and coal? Right now, they look exactly the same, and I've had about five times where I try to combine the two, end up switching them, and get confused and start crying.

Regarding that first statement, your not paying me at all, more like "investing". But any-who, I apologize if it makes you feel like that! I just consider you one of the most valuable people of this forum. You provide great feedback, which, in turn, makes a better texture pack.
And as for the coal and charcoal, I thought they used the same texture. Do they not?
The background for the inventory character seems... Impossible. The water is higher than it should be, making it more of an angle water, similar to Minecraft's waterfall's top, which seems a bit unrealistic. It's confusing my brain, BTW.
Also, the lava seems over chunked. It's more of a outline and with the occasional chunk, but not like this.
Great! What about 3.1? I mean, there doesn't seem to be a difference, but why not make it 3.1, since it pretty much doesn't change anything?
And yes, the coal and charcoal use the same texture. A mod could fix this, but for right now, that's impossible.

Wooden planks are amazing at the moment, in my honest opinion.
So, for the next update it will generally be about changing up some more textures and hopefully getting around to and or accomplishing Master7432's recommendations.

A for you captain!
If you want some screenshots, than i can get you some, at a pretty hi resolution.
Very well then. But first I must give you my "cameraguy" download via private message and you can take all the pictures you want!
Send them back to me on the private messenger and if I like them your pictures will earn a spot in my forum.
Thank you for your contribution. :biggrin.gif:

For I noticed it just recently.
My views are OVER 9000! =D

That is a pretty good idea, I'll try it out. However, it will be challenging in the effort to best the painterly gui's.
Oh yeah, how's the obsidian and creeper lookin'!
