Alright, so I've started work on the 1.8 version. I'll finally finish the items.png. (Aren't you all happy?) And I might make skins for BuildCraft (but don't get your hopes up.)
Here's the question: Cinderblock now replaces the stone block, right? So what do I replace cobblestone with? Or should I make some kind of nice wall material to replace stone block, and then keep cinderblock as a replacement for cobble?

Status update: 1.8 update is finished, except mushrooms. (WTF is the modern equivalent of a giant mushroom?)
Most items have been replaced, and I am working on support for IndustrialCraft right now, and possibly a few other mods. (Do not even ask about mystic ores...)

Alright, so MinecraftCustomizer won't accept my 1.8 texture uploads for whatever reason. I don't care, the 1.8 prerelease won't even run on my machine, so I'm just updating now, probably less than 12 hours before I have to update again.
Here are the most significant developments:
I've revamped the in-game gui with new, modern continuous form paper gui! Because your mine system uses only the most modern dot matrix automatic feed printers and mimeograph machines!
Also, new weapons! (actually I redid all the tools, except shears.)
Also, I just realized that this pack is sponsored by the Union for Technological Development! (totally forgot that, sorry guys...)
As such, Better Than Wolves support is on the way.

-watch should just be modernized (make it squarish and have nobs n such
-make sticky pistons have suction cups
-make the bed have nike sheets or something
-make lava sewage
